Q: I lost my manual, what are the steps to jump start a vehicle? I will truly appreciate your help.

Q: Is the charging adapter included in the package?

The charging adapter is not included in the package of this DJS90 jump starter. There is an included Type-c charging cable for you to connect to the Type-c port to charge this jump starter. You can connect the charging cable to your power adapter, your phone power adapter, for example, to charge this jump starter. Hope this helps.

Q: Options for recharging the unit?

The unit comes with a charging cable that allows you to charge this unit with any USB C Charging Port. You can use the same charger as you do for your cell phone or any other USB C charger. I did find that if I used the small iPhone charger that comes with the phone (about the size of a 1 inch cube) that puts out 1 amp, it would only charge my unit to 3 bars/lights (75%). Using a larger USB charger of 2-3 amps or more seemed to correct this and Charge my unit to 100%. I think that Apple may have built in a “max charging current limiter” in their small charger and it just couldn’t provide the high current demands that the DBPOWER unit wants. (Just my findings/opinion)

Q: How long does it take to charge ?

To answer your question ... I charged my unit over night from a really low initial charge. However; I used this unit one time with great results. I recharged the unit for future needs. The next time I attempted to use the unit the digital display would not turn on & the unit would not operate. I called the warranty phone number and was told to use the email function. This kept sending me to a Yahoo Japan sight and I could not get any results. Due to this lack of support I would not buy another product from DBPOWER, Wish this was not the case as I was really excited about the initial purchase!!!
