Very compatible
I use these with my fireTV, rPI-zeroes, beagle bones, microusb-otg with cellphones/tablets, and I even hardwired a few as permanent-usb expansions. The oldest one I have failed this month after 4-5 years of continuous service with my fireTV (actually. The fireTV has already been replaced twice for upgrades...). Anyway, buy this, it is what you want for Android, windows, and Linux. Just works out of the box. Don't expect super fast performance, but most of the platforms generally limit the performance more than the device anyway.

Works but not for Firestick 4K Max 2nd Gen
This device would work with most firesticks but the 4k Max 2nd Gen after a while using it the firestick would restart on its own, which lead to the belief that the OTG is powering the 4k Max 2nd Gen but when its being used for long periods, the OTG is get hot and power sent to the firestick is limited and cause it to reboot...Still a good product but not for long period usage with firestick 4K Max 2nd Gen.

Easy OTG to support Ethernet and Extended Storage
I wanted to extend my storage for my Fire TV Cube (2nd gen) and at the same time connect to the Ethernet. This OTG cable did both quite easily. I simply connected the OTB cable to the micro USB port on the Fire TV Cube then plugged in my Ethernet cable to the OTG Ethernet port and a SanDisk 64 GB USB disk drive into one of the three USB ports on the OTG cable. Everything worked the first time with no problems. I plan to install a keyboard next in one of the option USB ports. You can't beat the ease of use, the functionality and the price for this OTG cable.

Junk
I used this thing for maybe a week and it quit working right. Started making my firestick restart every 5min. Not impressed!

Worked great to add extra storage and Ethernet connection to Fire Stick 4K
I wanted to connect my Fire Stick 4K directly to my router and this device allowed me to accomplish this goal. The USB ports also allowed me to add extra storage to the Fire Stick so that I could have more apps than the internal storage of the Fire Stick would allow. I used a microSD card with a USB adapter to minimize the power drawn by the the extra storage. Very happy with this device so far.
