Good Quality bow string.
After getting a couple really cheaply made bow strings from other companies I decided to go with a name and brand I knew and trusted. I could tell right out of the package that this was a quality made bow string. Next time I need a replacement I will be choosing SAS first.

High Quality Crossbow String
The string is very well made and strong. The length is just right. Some other strings are too long so they hit the charging handles hard during shooting. This string is about half an inch away from the charging handles before cocking, so it it would not hit the charging handles or would not hit them hard. The protective string wrappings are very secure and durable. I suggest wrapping the the center protective string with no more than three layers of transparent packing tape (about 4 cm long) and change the tape when it wears out to further increase the durability of the string. The only criticism is that it's kind of expensive. $14.99 for just one string with end caps that I don't need.Last time the shipping and handling was free without Amazon Prime. That was still acceptable to me because of the impeccable quality of the Prophecy SAS Replacement Cobra StringUpdate: When I reordered one more string, Amazon charged $5.99 for S&H. Total came up to $22.97 for just one string. That's unreasonably expensive, so I emptied the shopping cart and look for one that does not charge S&H.But the strings from ANOTHER company were too long and the quality was too poor that I had to return them.Update: Last time it had one one Prophecy SAS Replacement Cobra String for 50 lb./ 80 lbs left in stock, so I could not order two to qualify for free shipping with order over $25 . Today it has more than one in stock so I ordered two. However, during check out I found out that I was still charged shipping and handling. I don't like being lied to, so I cancelled the new order. My product review is for the product only, so I still give it 5 stars.Update 6/23/2020: Today I saw that the seller has changed back to free shipping for just one string. I ordered two more. This time no shipping and handling was charged during check out. I am glad that the seller listened to my complaint so that I can continue to be a happy customer.

The good stuff! Don’t waste time on counterfeits!
The media could not be loaded. I tried using a knockoff version of these strings, got 2 shots down range and they started unwinding! I noticed there was a difference between the two brands immediately by the feel of the end loops and the center string. I’ve gotten more than 250 shots out of the SAS strings and could have gotten more.

Works
Used it on a 3d printed bow adder and it does a great job nothing has broke or tore on it yet!

Instructions are absolutely horrible
WHere to startNot clear on how the caps go on the end.Not clear on which way the crossbar goes into the holder. Not cl;ear on where the string actually goes on the tip.No instructions on how to string it.No instructions on how to draw it.Some of these are someone intuitive if you are sure you have it together right. I wasnt as I had never used a pistol cross bow before.THe instructions are absolute crap as far as the pictures go.I had to go to YOUTUBe to find a video on how you are supposed to put it together to ensure that I was doing it correctly.Trial and error is okay if you are putting together a basketball hoop. It aint great when you have something that is shooting an arrow at 150 FPS and can kill someone.WIll not buy anything from this manufacturer again.
