Buying through Amazon was simple, the product must be updated, I had no issues registering via email, they send a verification which must be replied to in 3 mins. Setup was simple, remove the clear plastic under the probes. The fisrt run the software in the base/probes updates, it takes around 3-5mins in total....Cooking with these is a breeze, no more guessing what temp. the oven is, how long it took to get to temp. how long for the core temp. to reach ideal heat...... Well thought out, slim probes, only thing I'd like would of been an extra 10-20mm longer on the probes.... for big joints but I had no problems with Pork loin or Large 3Kg turkey crown or Fillet steaks..... You can see Oven temp. core temp. setpoint temp and time to cook (calculated by the software) or a history graph of the process, temp v time... so you can see temp. drop if oven is opened for basting etc...... Great product, east to clean, Ceramic top, stainless body, good for 400c.I wish the price was a bit better but £99 for two is still not too bad if you enjoy cooking and getting your food to the right temperatures.... Even in the air fryer with a shop bought Lasagna, probe in, double safe, core temp 60c.I use to use a £15 wired probe to a display but that is so limited compared to this, I even went out while cooking and still could see my food on the phone with an ETA to completion…. Really enjoyed using this product…. Nearly forgot to say, the base has sound and gives voice prompts when cooking, like cooking is done, remove food from heat and allow to rest….. USB-C charging, Probes charge from base unit, Unit does not need to be plugged in to power to operate..... (only for charging the base).5 Star for Probes, base unit and software.

This thermometer is easier to work with your iPhone and gets great results

Works very well and the cooking recommendations come in very handy as well, particularly for lager roasting joints.Battery life could be a little better, but good enough, no problems for a single low and slow cook.

Nice product at a good price, two probes giving internal and ambient temperature (useful for checking oven/BBQ temperature).Requires the iQ app but allows setting each probe separately if using both. App also updates hardware before first use. I checked the internal temps with a separate thermometer and all seemed OK.A couple of reviews mentioned the probes were not very robust - I didn't find that at all buy worth being careful in use.Recommended especially for the price.

Have in the past used manual thermometers to check the internal temperature of meats I was cooking. Was recommended to buy this by a friend and I am so glad I did. Tried it out on duck breasts I was cooking for a dinner party. I would not say that the set up using the App is idiot proof as I had to use trial and error to get there but if I can do it as a non tech person you should. Love that you can monitor progress remotely and I was able to cook the duck to medium rare that all my guests thoroughly enjoyed. I would suggest getting the two probes as this will give you flexibility. Excellent item.

The Chef IQ probe was really simple to use. Simply followed the instructions on the app and we had perfect rib of beef for Christmas. Seriously lovely bit of fore rib of beef cooked to perfection.
