Elegant, Insightful, and Surprisingly Powerful — A Ring That Knows You
I’ve been wearing the Samsung Galaxy Ring since its launch, and it’s genuinely transformed how I track my health without the bulk of a smartwatch. Crafted from lightweight titanium (2.3–3 g, 2.6 mm thick), it fits comfortably all day—even in the shower or while sleeping—yet is packed with an accelerometer, optical heart‑rate sensor, and skin‑temperature sensor for continuous, precise biometricsThe seamless Bluetooth connection to my Galaxy phone syncs data into Samsung Health, where Galaxy AI analyzes sleep quality, heart variability, activity, SpO₂, and intuitive Energy Scores—no subscription needed. Battery life lasts about a week, and the included charging cradle makes recharging effortles. What impresses me most is the combination of jewelry-like elegance and deep health insight. The ring is stylish, water-resistant to 10 ATM, and Samsung’s AI-powered wellness tips are genuinely helpful. Sleep-stage tracking is detailed, step and heart-rate accuracy is reliable, and Energy Scores help me balance activity and rest. It’s Android‑only and not the cheapest at launch ($399), but if you're in the Samsung ecosystem and want a sleek, smart wellness tool that feels like a normal ring, this is a game‑changer!

Must have for all Samsung users
The ring is incredibly lightweight and comfortable—I forget I’m even wearing it. It has a premium titanium feel and looks clean and modern, not bulky at all. I can wear it all day and night, even while sleeping or working out, without any irritation. Sleep tracking is where it really shines. The insights are detailed and accurate, and I’ve actually started changing some habits based on what it tells me. It also tracks heart rate, steps, skin temperature, and stress levels seamlessly—all without needing to check a screen constantly.

Impressed - light & accurate (quiet tech)
I was skeptical but, after a week of use, I've been pleasantly surprised. I have a smart watch but I really don't wear it often. I prefer my old analogs and the battery life on the smart watch leaves a lot to be desired. I need simplicity and I don't need another screen on my life. I've been wearing the ring on my ring finger in place of my wedding band. It looks good and the measurements have been incredibly accurate. The heart rate feature has matched finger pulse measurements and the sleep tracking matches exactly sleep and wake times. And, most impressively, what it records for distance and pace during my runs has been spot on.. outside on road AND on my treadmill.UPDATED REVIEW -The ring stopped working after 5 months. I sent it back to Samsung. That in itself was a fraught process. Samsung website does not even have the Ring listed as an item that might need service. I had to get on the phone to have a service rep provide a return ticket. Samsung then instructs you to send the item back without attachments. So I pack it up and send it. After it is received I get a message indicating not sent with charging cradle. And to add insult to injury, they say the ring (5 months old) is out of warranty. ??? So I call; experience lots of phone tree runaround until I get someone live. He tells me you owe money because of impact damage. I say, NO, there has never been any impact damage. It stopped working overnight. The customer service person says well there are no pictures in my file and that department is closed for the evening. Can you call back tomorrow?I have a job and I have followed the procedure. Called during the hours they indicated. Got the run around and then been told "out of warranty - impact damage" which is complete and utter BS.So - NO - I do not recommend the ring. Just gonna chalk it up to a product not ready for market and a company with poor customer service. Going to by the Oura and then consider this a life lesson. Also - will re-think my future Samsung purchases.

Useful overall
The ring looks and feels plastic, which is disappointing, but it tracks my sleep and activity fairly well. It auto records walking and other exercise, so I don't need to think to do the tracking. My ring did stop working at just about one month. The battery stopped holding a charge and was dying within 8 hours. I sent it into Samsung for repairs and they replaced it in about a week. The new ring has been working without problems.
