does exactly what i need it to do
works exactly as described. had a groundhog digging a burrow entrance in our crawlspace and put this camera up to monitor the functionality of the repellent we put down there. got great video and stills with timestamps. i didn't use the included batteries based on the reviews, and duracell worked fine and lasted well over a month. the ai feature for animal identification is hilariously bad and kept identifying the groundhog as either a human or deer, but the quality and video length is more than sufficient for animal identification

Detection range not at all as advertised - 25' at best
I like most things about it. I find the battery life to be about 1 month in a use where it is triggered 1 to 3 times a day. I bought this model because it advertised a long detection range, 98'. And that is the dark side of this - things have to be closer than 25' to get detected, whether it is a human or a racoon, and even a pigeon real close one time. But forget it beyond 25'; it doesn't detect me or the car driving up to it until 25'.I like the app use on my phone and downloads are relatively quick to my phone. Over all good for the money, good pictures and some sound, if you don't need much detection range.

Great camera with only a few minor flaws
This trail camera helped monitor a protected wildlife area this spring. It was able to catch a variety of animals, as well as some trespassers and poachers. The camera quality is fantastic, and I appreciate that there is no subscription needed to view my photos and videos. I also like that there is a wide lens, it picks up on a much larger range than other more expensive cameras I have used. While using this camera I picked up on two issues. First, while mounting the camera to a tree, the plastic buckle on the mounting strap broke. We had to rig a new strap on site which was slightly irritating. The other issue was that the battery level could never be read reliably. Battery level would fluctuate constantly, and I could put a new set of batteries in and it would read 10%. This was a problem when I was downloading a group of videos, and mid download it would kick me off the camera due to low battery. Then I would lose track of what videos were and were not downloaded.Despite these two problems, I do not regret buying this trail camera. At such a low price, I really cannot complain. The camera quality is impressive.

Has captured great shots!
This trail cam has captured great shots from our backyard of the wildlife that crosses in the wash - coyote, deer, javelina, and more. Have loved seeing the pics and videos that it is capturing. It has been just right for us. It was easy to set up.

You get what you pay for & buyer beware!
This is SUPER cheaply made. I purchased a couple of trail cameras (different manufacturers) to put up in my trees. When I got this one, I was going off the images that showed the color of the camera (I wanted it to match, not stand out like a sore thumb), and it looks exactly like the pictures. So at first glance, I was pleased. However, upon opening the box and removing the user manual (gotta make sure I do the initial setup correctly), I began noticing "issues".When I purchase products, I expect if coming from a majority of companies that do manufacturing, I expect a reasonable about of expectations. For instance, manuals should be worded proper. Not everyone is inclined to being naturally able to setup equipment, especially digital equipment. (DON'T JUST ME, just hear me out as I am very good at setting up these types of things. I don't & was never rushing the setup process) So it starts off saying "insert 4 or 8 aa batteries". Um, huh?! So I grab 8 new batteries, just in case. (already losing confidence in this.. BUT, maybe this is one of those manuals that "apply to several releases of this mfr's cameras". I'll continue) I follow the manual and see MANY errors in grammar, losing more faith.. And then the cheapy, flimsy battery housing tray. NIGHTMARE. It has notches that stop the tray twice before fully removing from the camera unit. I get to the last row which holds the final 2 batteries, and the tray pops out & the last 2 batteries fly out of my hands (I was more concerned about NOT dropping anything that was part of the camera. Still can't find 1/2 batteries). Once I reached this point, I realized if this thing is going to be THIS big of a pain to just get the batteries installed (God forbid the day it needs to all be replaced), I finally say I have had enough. There's that joke "how many blondes to screw in a light bulb", well I'm NOT okay with feeling duped by a plastic battery tray. And I surely have NO DESIRE to keep this & wait to do the "replace the old batteries with fresh new ones", so thank you for a cute looking camera (only the front half is that Grey camo print. The back half is a sand brown), and while the Grey camo design matches my trees perfectly, I do not wish to be tasked with the future battery change nightmare that I know will be waiting if I keep this. Cute looking, but not practical for someone like me.You will get what you pay for with this, but you will also be asked to download an app to access the images. Sure, that doesn't sound so bad EXCEPT the app the company wants you to download on your phone asks you to enable BOTH Bluetooth as well as your GPS. But wait, here's the best part, they also want you to configure the app on our phone to "allow app to access your location even when app is not in use". Hmm.. Phones technically already have trackers built-in to them, but now I need to download an app that can track me around town or while I'm traveling? Yeah, no thanks!! A+ for effort with regard to the app you need to put on your phone if you want to use your phone to access the camera. I see where this is going before leaving the station! Not happening! Everything is right back in the box as it came & going right back.So if you want a cheap camera that might/might not work (depending on the signal on your phone or computer) that is created by a company who runs an app that will track your phone's every move regardless if you're looking at the cameras pictures & has THE WORST battery holding tray next to that board game "Operation", then this is a well rounded camera for you. But if you want none of these, get a different mfr's camera. Spare yourself the nightmare of needing to replace the batteries & being tracked (with your permission that is) on your phone by who knows who even when you're not checking your trail camera. You get what you pay for!

Great product for the price.
Cameras are great for the price. They do everything that I need them to do without breaking the wallet. They function well and easy setup.
