I bought a crimpit on tik tok getting in with the hype of the product. Didn't know much about them. Cost about £9. Expensive for a bit of plastic but still. Very difficult to use, wasted a lot of wrap as wasn't big enough and the serrated teeth were hardly serrated. It worked but was truly difficult.Did some research and saw this one. Bigger, more expensive. Could I justify spending £20.99 on the same product and risk it again for a plastic item?Turns out yes. I have taken pictures to compare the tik tok item compared to this one. It goes to show that not everything is as it seems on tik tok. So many things out there are false.People should be supporting small businesses instead of the rubbish online. Buying cheap on tik tok etc doesn't make it better. Everyone loves a deal, but do right in the first place and support local or the actual brand.Using the new crimpit it works great. The wraps fit well and the teeth are super serrated so it makes it easier to push down.Me and my partner put ours in the air fryer after. If you have a ninja dual tray we do 180 or 190 for 8 mins and flip half way.Truly worth it for filling and tasty meals. Takes minutes to do and minutes to cook.

Only used once and yer it does what they say it should, can think of how amazing I can make some meals or dinner times... Trying pastry in it next...

Arrived super quickly and very well packaged. Good sturdy plastic and nice colour. Works really well and crimps tightly. I was impressed with the depth of it and enjoyed a really deliciously thick crimpit with lots of my favourite fillings. Lovely addition to my kitchen gadgets and I can see myself using it regularly especially for leftovers. Comes with a really good recipe book too. Easily stored in my kitchen draw neatly.

For what it does, this is not worth the price it charges. It does what it says, crimps tortilla wraps, but that's basically it, and the crimping did not hold anyway, coming away as I air fried it.

I thought this was going to be a fad item that we used once and then it was left in the cupboard for months until we rediscovered it again. It's not! Honestly we haven't stopped using the crimpit maker since we have had it! The kids are addicted to asking for dad's wraps and it's just a simple bit of kit that makes lovely and quick meals. Very simple to use, easy to clean, small and compact to store away when not in use. Seems well made and good value with the recipe book. Honestly just buy one. Id definitely buy another if mine broke. The kids would miss it too much!
