Almost perfect
I had been looking for a controller to manage my aquarium (fresh water) auto top off and water changes. This fit the bill. I ordered one unit to test with. Tests were going good. The good:The unit works as it should. I intend to do two of them, one to manage automatic top off, and another to manage full water changes. The auto top off unit will be plugged in to a smart plug with Alexa voice control. This way it won't run while a water change (drain mode) is happening. The bad:The water sensor probes rust. As stated in other reviews, it would seem as though the metal is not stainless as described. I left it in a container of water while doing my tests and within two days corrosion occurred. (See pics)This is not acceptable for something that will be exposed to water and possibly leeching contaminants in to an aquarium. I'm now in the process of sourcing waterproof wires to replace these bad sensors.EDIT 8/31/24: In the original review I mentioned I was sourcing different sensors and settled on plastic float switches that are magnetic. This does not work. Apparently there is a circuit and this item uses the water as a conductor to open/close this circuit. I'm not sure why the designer would require conductivity between high and low sensors, when each sensor should just be a simple open/closed switch. The hunt continues.

great idea, great look, but didnt work
I thought this would work as a auto fill that would use one sensor, and use the other sensor for a high level trip. it triggers the pump on the low sensor and keeps filling to the high sensor. It worked for a month and then stopped working. it did fail off, which is a positive.

It works
It took a little while to figure out how to use it but once I did, it worked fine. My only complaint is that the suction cups could have been of higher quality A bit Wimpy.
