Engaging science facts for kids, beautifully presented
This comes in a beautifully presented box which is brightly coloured and attractive, and unfolds into segments filled with fun science facts. The three question types (How? What? Why?) cover a wide range of (mostly-biology related) queries presented on colourful circles of card with cute illustrations. The answers on the reverse are detailed but accessible for older children, I would say around 10 years old would be ideal as my 8 year old struggled a little with some of the concepts. He did, however, really like that the questions covered some gross topics like poo and bogies! As previously mentioned, the box is really lovely and it would make a great gift for older children, however, it is just cardboard and not massively robust, and it did suffer some damage when my 2 year old got hold of it and wanted to pretend it was a pizza!

A really fun way to learn some facts about the human body and a nice presentation box
This is a fun set of cards with biological facts making learning about the human body very fun! This pack comes in shrink wrap and I love how this box is closed over with two flaps on the back, and once you open the flaps the hexagonal box then opens with one side having a magnetic part to it so you can undo a magnetic part of the hexagon and then the whole thing separates with each two triangles within a hexagon hiding some cards inside. You can lay this out on its side after that with the triangles standing up. The whole box looks impressive and fun with lots of fun illustrations of body parts and the cards you get are equally fun to look at with lots of fun illustrations of various body parts and other things. There are three sets of round cards which each have a question on one side and the answer on the back. Each of the questions is a biological one from what happens when a bone breaks, how much saliva do we produce, to questions about ear wax, our hearts and even why we yawn. The questions are all ones kids (and adults) will be interested in and the answers at the back are simple but informative and there are some fun illustrations used on both sides of the cards. I really like how almost everything pictured (even things like pieces of poo) have faces and how they look with different expressions. The images help to make the information you read clearer to understand in your mind and it makes this whole set of biology cards a fun one to get for kids.Although this set is aimed at children, it does say ages 7-99 on the box. I do think this is a great set of cards to share with family, especially with how fun they look and the fun presentation box they come in, and I'm sure plenty of adults will enjoy learning facts about the human body along with the kids! :)

Human Biology for Kids
Pros:Science Snippets has turned learning about the human body into an adventure for my daughters. They're not just studying; they're discovering, and they're loving every minute of it!The pizza slice box is like something out of a kid's dream. It's colourful, it's fun, and it's got my daughters excited to dive in and explore.Sharing these cards with my daughters has become a special bonding time. We laugh, we learn, and we make memories that I know they'll cherish forever. These cards spark the best conversations! From why our noses run to why we hiccup, we end up chatting about all kinds of fascinating stuff. It's like a mini-science party every time we break them out.Cons:While the pizza slice box is adorable, it's not the sturdiest. I worry it won't hold up to my daughters' enthusiasm for long.Verdict:Science Snippets has been a game-changer for my daughters' learning experience. Despite a concern about the box's durability, the joy and knowledge it brings into our home make it an invaluable addition to our educational resources. If you're looking for a fun, engaging, and educational way to learn about the human body, I highly recommend giving Science Snippets a try for your daughters.

Much bigger than expected.
This review was completed with help 10 y/o daughter. The box was much bigger than I expected from the vendors pics. The sections are attached to each other via a band around the outside. I needn't have had worries about them falling all over the floor! The down side is that the cards are not secure on each section, they just sit in a recessed channel between the two triangles. There are 3 sections of information. The sections are well illustrated with fun little doodles. Whilst the description states "more than 70 double sided cards", you get one question and answer per card - question on one side the answer on the other. The cards are a little more flimsy than expected, but not terribly so, probably around 160gsm. They have a semi glossy surface to last a little longer. The questions and information are well presented, but in some cases I feel 7y/o's might struggle with the vocabulary and amount of information given. Possibly more.suited to a 10y/o. The stated price is £24.99, which I feel is a little over priced, but with current promotion (Mar 24) of -30% (£17.99) , feel its more appropriately priced. All in all a nice idea not currently obnoxiously priced, great for all science geeks.
