Great Blaster for the Price!
This blaster definitely packs a punch, and for the price, highly recommend it! Just be warned, it’s definitely hitting harder than you would think when you’re holding it for the first time. I would be mindful when using it with younger kids, but during a Nerf battle that may get a little intense, having this blaster as a back up will give you an edge. I bought an extra magazine for quick reloads, as tracking down the balls after lighting somebody up and watching them get mad, presents another set of challenges! I recently bought a second to stash and use for surprise attacks!

Good stuff
Fun little toy. I've got 4 of them in a drawer. Easy aim, doesn't hit too hard but can shoot across the room. No observable differences between the 4 guns so build qualities good. Buy some 3rd party balls if you want to save money.

Great gift
This Nerf gun Was a good purchase. So good in fact that I bought one for myself so that my grandson and I could have Nerf gun battles. It is so much fun. I originally bought went for my grandson for Christmas. The balls are soft and easy to load. The only objection to this purchase is it’s hard to pull the lever to pop the pellet into fire mode. It it wasn’t for that I’d give it a 5 rating.

Cool Rival Blaster
Really cool Nerf blaster! This is my first one from the “Rival” series. Pretty high powered compared to the standard darts. Easy enough to use but this is definitely an age 8 toy or higher due to the strong cocking system & high velocity of the balls. My only complaint is the rail system is not compatible with standard Nerf accessories - which I find a bit odd & slightly frustrating.

Best blaster for foam flinging starters and nerf blaster of 2024-2025
Highly recommend!!! Such a good blaster. Secret tech: IT HAS SLAMFIRE! Super accurate wether you’re using the new rival accustrike rounds, the old yellow rival rounds, and even the X shot chaos rounds. Literally wherever you aim, that’s where it’s gonna go. It is compatible with the old clear rival magazines and some off brand magazines like borola and EKIND HOWEVER the nerf rival challenger magazine kinda works with this, you have to load it in backwards but taking the mag out is Gonna need a good yank (dont recommend putting the challenger magazine in the mirage)Let alone I got two of them when they were $7.49!!! Even when it’s $10 it is A MUST!! If you can’t wait for it to arrive the next day. Your local target and walmart should have it in store shelfs.

Great option for a cheap nerf gun
Bought these for my kids and they work really well. The shoot accurately and don't jam. The nerf ball comes out with a lot of speed and power. Would buy again.

Cost vs Performance
Pros: Small form factor, great spring and firing for rival, active loading (top port), it is VERY affordable for how it fires (when it fires well)Cons: hard prime (not as comfortable grip), occasionally fires without trigger pull (after prime return), double fed shots (issues double feeding)overall: if you are looking for an entry blaster into the rival series, the rival isn't too bad of a choice. It comparable to the Helios as far as firing range and accuracy. If given a Helios as option against the Mirage, I would go for the Helios.

Shoots fast and accurately
Fast and accurate and doesn’t hurt kids. Young kids up to 6 will have a hard time shooting as it takes more strength
