More of learning curve than cups but definitely recommend.
So starting off packaging wise despite( or maybe helped by ) reading all reviews I did manage to get into it easily. Simply run a knife completely around it where the join is and it opens very easily. Kind of like security packaging/ Packaging that shows if it’s been opened or someone’s tried to.It took me a while to get it positioned right, I’ve got Eds anyway and I also had a significant mass which caused prolapse and had to have surgery. This did its damage I suppose which doesn’t help. There is definitely more of a learning curve than a cup and honestly still not 100% sure I have it atleast completely right. As others have said It could really do with some instructions ( hints and tips would also be good ) with it or even simply instructions via diagrams. I can’t quite work out If it feelS like it’s a little on the big side for me, and as others have said I can feel the pressure against my bladder. Or if I’ve not complete got it positioned right. ( even if it’s due to child/ surgery and such) It is comfortable and except the slight pressure I wouldn’t feel it at all so it really is a shame to have that pressure. It is also staying in place and so far no leaking although at first it kept popping out of place but I managed to move/ change and stop it happening. May update this when I’ve used it more this is only my first period with it but definitely happy. I’ve used a sckoon cup now for many years and honestly if I could go back and known about it from the start of my periods I would have used cup ( or disc ) from the start. My periods since using the cup have got better and better to the point I pretty much now only have a two day period. I honestly don’t see why In the UK these kinds of products aren’t presented as option, wether cup, disc or even period pants or cloth pads. My periods started at a very young age and soon figured out me and pads didn’t work out due to allergy and chemicals, moved to tampons but they where honestly no better. I only found out about cup and other products when I had my daughter and needed to use cloth nappies on her due to her reactions to nappies. knowing about alternatives would have saved so much suffering. I confess I decided to try this due to the ability to still have sex really otherwise I was happy with the cup but yet to try that out yet. So will have to see.

Truly a waste of money & resources
I’ve used cups for about 15 years now (eek). I had tried Flex disposable discs as I only see my parter once or twice a week & was fed up of my short cycle meaning I’d have a cup in every third week (I swear it felt like more often sometimes).I’m so disappointed in this. I really wanted it to work & to be honest have myself sore trying.- it’s too soft. It’s so hard trying to insert it when it just wants to collapse, fold over, twist over, or just plain stick. For reference I have no trouble inserting my cup, which is also the very soft collapsible one by Intimina!- it’s too big. This thing made me ache when I did wear it (& I’ve worn it for three days & nights so far; I really did try!). It made me feel crampy, interfered with bowel & bladder no matter how much I moved it around.- “Flat-fit design cannot be felt at all – no matter what you’re doing!” B*llocks. The rim refused to stay more than a couple mm behind my public bone, meaning the rest of it stuck out. No way sex could happen without it being very painful for my partner!- it leaked. At least two or three times a day, with no warning, there would be a sudden hush of blood into my knickers & I had to run to the loo & spend ages sorting out the damage- I’m used to a cup, & don’t have any issues with my own blood. I’ve perfected the art of concealing my cup in my hands in dire emergency to wash in public bathrooms. So trust me when I say it is a nightmare in public loos. Any malfunctions such as it not inserting properly & you look like you murdered someone. No disguising those hands lady! So you need wet wipes at all times & use a lot of them...which kind of ruins the point of trying to be eco friendly huh? Talking of which...- ...the packaging. Intimina seem to be completely deaf to their customers on this one. It’s a big (like 10x the size of the product big) plastic box, & a weirdly pouty-lipped case. Seriously. Do you not have PR people checking the reviews Intimina? To be clear, the most irritating thing for me was the unreliability. Random, unpredictable, frequent leaks; claims that it simply couldn’t live up to; pain; an ability to slide perfectly into place one moment then twist out if your hands & vagina the next, despite using the exact same motion to insert. It’s just bad: too big, too soft, too unreliable, too badly packaged, too difficult. Sorry. I really did try.
