I’ve tried to pair over and over. It will recognize it each time but says fail to pair after a minute or so. I’ve tried manually and the automatic. I’ve gotten it to pair once. And while it’s sitting right next to the router it make detect motion twice in a 24hr period. I’ve reset router, phone, & sensor multiple x’s

I really like these sensors for multiple reasons. They synced right up with the Tuya app that I was already using for remote infrared control of air conditioning units. Now with the same app I can monitor our house when we're not there. Bought two sensors to cover the main entrance and exits. I like these sensors because they have something like a 30 minute time out, whereas if you get a ping from movement, if there's movement within 30 minutes it won't ping you again which keeps the unnecessary notifications down. For inside a house where people are walking back and forth all the time, that's a nice feature.Also really really really like the fact that these run off of a single cr123 lithium cell. The book says it's supposed to last a few years, but even if it lasts a year that's a small price to pay for the convenience of being able to mount these things on the wall up out of the way without having to run a cord to them.

Does not work. I brought two different devices. Neither works. Might be WiFi band.Update: NOT MY WiFi. I updated my phone application. Now it works. I use it for my garage. No one is ever in my garage. Once activated, it appears to reactivate in 30 minutes. That is one star. This makes it hard to test to see if it actually works and is in a good location. I need to get a feel for how it works. That is another star gone. I understand that most people might use it for their house and where there is a lot of activity. I have trying to pair it to work with my alarm and smart light. No luck so that is why I upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars.Hopes this help other buyers and update applications.Update connecting properly to my devices. Changing from 3 to 4 stars. It is time consuming if you want to make work the way it can work. Over all a good product. May buy two more.Brought two more. They all worked out beautifully until now. Back to not connecting fully to my internet. They work when I test them only them with the test button only. Stopped detecting motion. Go figure.

This was easy to setup and connect to wifi. The advertised 5 year battery life doesn't seem to be very likely. I've been using it for a month with maybe 4 detections per day and the battery is already down to 80%. I didn't really expect the battery to last 5 years but for me it looks like it will last 5 months.The 30 min reset time after detection is probably the most annoying thing about the device. The product info is clear about this so no surprise but it would be nice to be able to set that reset time from the app - understand the battery will not last as long if the 30 min reset time was reduced. That would be a great feature to add!!

Product does not work, even though setup was easy.Consistently disconnected.

This does an excellent job of filtering out excessive notifications by incorporating a delay before detecting another movement. I've turned off the 3 notification switches and incorporated an automation in order to receive "motion" alerts only. Coupled with a great app called "alert me", I've tested it for about a month with100% accuracy.

So test the system and it will say movement happened very quickly. Only thing is it takes 30 minutes before it will say movement stopped. I trigger it and walk away from that area knowing there is nothing to trigger it where I have it. Everytime 30 minutes before it would trigger again. Great to notify once, but to say movement is still happening you wouldn't know, as it gives off a vibe that movement has been going on for the whole 30 mins.

This detects motion so randomly, everytime you walk by it will detect the first motion and then won’t detect another motion for another 30 mins or so… do not waste your time
