Great having a working Fitbit again.

I am 71. I am a competitive stair climber. I have been using a Fitbit for 13 years in May. I woke up Thursday to put on my Sense, it was dead. I called Fitbit, got it working briefly. They gave me a 35% discount on a new one. I have beaten my goal 14 days in a row, didn’t want to lose that. Got this cause I could get it same day, n not lose a day of steps, plus the sense looked goofy when I wear a watch on my left wrist. Very happy with this, be sure to get the cover that slides over the top of it, because you will walk into walls or shelves and scratch it. Fitbit’s are very accurate and if you have been using one a while stay in the same eco system.

Perfect!!

I had a Fitbit for the last few years that I acquired for free, from my insurance company and I absolutely loved it. It finally died. Completely. And I was heartbroken.I didn’t want anything like an Apple Watch because they’re too big and bulky and I don’t need all the extras that are on it. I’m 63 years old. My old Fitbit saved my life because I went into a fib and had no idea what was going on until I checked on my Fitbit to see that I was in trouble. I was at the hospital already with my daughter, sitting with her and immediately a team came in and took me straight downstairs to the ER. I stayed there for a week until I got better. That’s due to this Fitbit that I had.I ordered this Fitbit six, and I love it just the same. Does everything the older one that I had did that was not a six. I have not scratched it at all, and I’m rough on things because I work outside a lot with my hands. I love the heart rate monitoring and the sleep tracking. It’s very comfortable. The size is perfect. If this one ever dies, and I hope it’s a few years before that happens, I will order another one. I’m very happy with these. My only complaint is that the bands from my Fitbit five do not fit this six model. They will not stay attached so I’m scared to order extra bands to go with this six.

Works ok, but the Fitbit app is very glitchy on Android.

It does things it's supposed to do and fairly accurate, too. The major annoyance is to try to synch the watch to my phone. It almost never does it automatically. oftentimes it requires several trials and rebooting watch or phone or both, sometimes several times. The paid subscription is a nuisance, and I canceled that right away. However, one is only going to miss few things without subscription, from what I understand.I don't like how it doesn't measure oxygen saturation instantly and only gives you average for the last night.I do like the details on sleep quality and how long the battery charge lasts (a few days).

Buggy. Really really BUGGY

I bought this to track my cardio on the spin bike at the gym. I'm on a long-term weight loss adventure and when you are counting calories and fighting for every pound accuracy matters so I thought I'd splurge and buy the name brand product. I'd previously had the Amaze-FIT and they were adequate except the battery dies after about a year and you have to replace it. The Charge6 has lots more bells and whistles and I was making some progress on my goals, I thought I'd treat myself. The first one was a lemon; the battery ran out before the day was over. I returned it, ordered a new one. It's really buggy.--The good: there are lots of extra bells and whistles, it tracks a lot of extra things like sleep and fitness readiness. As a pedometer it was accurate for me and it did a good job of tracking heartrate and exertion on the spin bike.--The not good: first, the ridiculous--the band attachment is fickle. I finally got annoyed with the smell of the plastic band and ordered an after-market band from a different brand. Didn't stay on so I put the old one back on and IT doesn't stay on. Luckily I lost enough weight I can use the smaller plastic band that came with the watch originally. Fingers crossed, that seems to be working.--THe CHARGING MAGNET. Good grief it's FRUSTRATING! It doesn't just snap and go; tonight I had to fiddle with it for about 3 minutes to get a decent connection. It's been more than once I've grabbed it and headed for the gym only to discover the dang thing didn't charge. It SHOULDN'T BE THIS HARD!--If you have an older Android? Don't bother until you get an upgrade. It'll connect, but you'll burn another 2000 calories in frustration and animated swearing as you try to get your Charge, your phone and your headphones to all chat at the same time (hint: if you DO run in to this, you have to restart your phone AND your watch...just go for that, all the other fixes are wishful thinking). It's really frustrating.--It keeps wanting to connect to Google and give Google all your vital statistics. Girls, it tracks your monthlies too and if you live on a state that's taken interest in your fertility? I'd be nervous.--It supposedly tracks your stress levels; it tracks something, but it isn't your stress levels. It consistently tells me I'm having a chill day when in reality I'm one lazy wisecrack away from wanting to throttle strangers. I have no idea what it's measuring, but it's definitely not stress levels. There are things I really love about the thing: I think it's a great cheerleader when I have a really good workout. I like the little high-fives it gives me as I progress down the weight scale. But it's the things that should be no-brainers that it fails at and because this is the brand leader in fitness gadgets, it's extra disappointing that it doesn't live up to expectations.UPDATE: after 3 months of use, the whole thing crapped out. The screen suddenly ended up covered in lines and is now completely unreadable. And of course, there's no warranty. I'm so frustrated. I'm going back to the cheap knock-off versions. THEY at least last for a YEAR. Absolutely disgusted.
