this is the extra battery and Can be used with the Delta 2
I got this for our Delta 2 after seeing it would work with itThe delta 2 is 1024wh so this allows the delta to access an extra 2048 .It does not increase the wattage of the machine only its available capacity. You cant daisy chain more of them to it ,as delta2 has just one input socket.I believe the bigger deltas can as they have more .Thi unit has a screen but you dont get sockets on it, only the connecting socket for the cable that joins it to the generatorOnce connected, it charges and discharges via that one cable. you cant charge it on its own from the mains it only charges via that cableWhen using the delta 2, the screen shows input and output to and from it and remaining time at that rate of activity. and you can also see the same sort of info in the delta 2 screen which also shows remaining and rates. It has been totally reliable so far allowing us to use the cheaper night time leccy in the day time..This unit is very heavyYou can sit another one on top if you have that sort of set up.We have it on the floor and the delta 2 on top.I was thinking we would use the whole set up in the camper but it is too big in our vehicle so we will stick with just the main unit in there.Excellent for prepping. There would be nothing stopping a person from charging it then unplugging and charging another one if they have the delta 2 as we do and not the bigger machines.Only space limits it.

Very neat unit
Clean functional design and although heavy the handles make it relatively easy to manoeuvre. Easy to use straight out of the box and watching a few YouTube videos helps get the best out of it.I bought this unit primarily to run my oil fired Combi boiler during a power cut as we live in a rural area and they often occur during the winter months. As the Combi pump runs continuously I needed a battery that would cope with the spikes when firing up and last long enough to cover a decent period.I initially charged the unit to 100% from 30% on fast charge and it took just over an hour. I then used the unit to power my Combi for 24 hours. The test involved heating domestic water all day including two showers and running the CH from cold for an hour. After 24 hours there was still 13% power left. My next test will be to add the fridge/freezer to see how this affects the power usage. My main reason for buying the unit has been satisfied but I'm sure there are lots of other ways I can utilise it over time.

lovely people to deal with
this is a comment about the support team; I bought the ecoflow delta 2 max and the 800w panels; I had a few set up questions, and the ecoflow team were proactive with assistance; they went above and beyond my expectations; lovely people to deal with;edit: this is great kit, and the software is well designed; i have made a frame from unistrut, (see picture - not finished) and connected it up at a remote site; with a data sim running from the 12v power socket (more efficient) and cameras running via the 230v inverter outlet; to run the Ecoflow unit without a mains connection, you don't need the Powerstream unit, but you do need a cable (link to follow) to plug each solar panel to the Ecostream;update: the remote operation has been successful throughout November and December, operating a camera and sim router (RUT950) without needing a top up; the specs show that it will not recharge when below 0 degrees, which seems to be the case, sunny, but minus six degrees in the shade;Charging temperature0°C - 45°C (32°F - 113°F)

One word, WOW!
After searching around for the last few months for the most suitable solar generator for our campervan conversion, we settled on the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max and what a fantastic choice it was. Hooked up to the Renogy, 200w solar panel, I’ve discovered that my Alpcool refrigerator will actually run for free. Even on a cloudy day, the solar panel pulls in about 30 - 40 watts (190 when the sun came out) and the Alpcool set on eco mode was drawing about the same amount. Refrigeration for free! On top of that the Life4 battery technology gives it a huge lifespan……With over 3000 cycles available, it can be completely discharged and recharged every day for 10 years and even then it’s only down to 80 percent capacity. No other manufacturer comes even close to this when using standard lithium (try Jackery with 800 cycles!). It has so many features……. Over 2 kw capacity and will work up to 3.5kw using X Boost. It can handle start up spikes up to 4.8kw, has full Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, it is expandable up to over 6kw, 2x 100w USBC ports, 4x USB A with two of those fast charge, 4x UK AC outlets, 5 year warranty etc…..My only criticism is that Ecoflow should have fitted the top with a wireless charging pad for mobile phones. That’s all.One last thing, the elephant in the room, at nearly £1900 it’s not cheap but you get so much more with this unit. Buy once, buy this…
