Outstanding and amazing book! I have bought a couple for gifts. A great go-to for so many things. Written in scientific layman's terms - by this I mean that people with at least average intelligence can interpret most of it. I am a nurse of 30+ years and 2 degrees and I understood most of it. Some stuff I had to look up to supplement further and better understanding.Overall, it is realllllly informative. The authors have gone to great pains to do a lot of research, it seems. The information seems to be objectively presented. I have started following many of the recommendations and feel much better.At the time I first got this book (I ordered it because it was a great deal and I had interest in the topic) I had just torn a tendon in my foot. The first thing I did was look up natural healing enhancement of such an injury. I found that Tumeric & Bromelain would be helpful, and indeed they were. A month later I came down with an autoimmune condition with vision loss. This book helped me understand these conditions better, how our bodies heal, general wellness principles; and, of course, supplement recommendations for optimum wellness.I HIGHLY recommend this book.

Invaluable guide for anyone wanting solid information on alternative healing...something other than the standard "pills or surgery" that are most commonly used in standard medicine today. While it gives much detailed information about alternate forms of treatment for many diseases, it is written in an accessible style. You don't need a degree in health care to understand what's in this book. It's a great reference. Anyone who believes that the body can heal itself naturally if given the means to do so should read this book. Highly recommended.

This medical information book is so packed with information that I will not be disappointed. Makes me see the power of the body and ways to inprove myself. And to help others. This helps the empty holes fill up quick.
