This has been fantastic for our 4'9, 85 lbs, 10 year old boy. We participate in many sports, and have since age 5. We are working on finding talent, finding interest, and keeping our son off his butt/screens and staying active.He's involved in a running club over the summer and they do throwing disc, javelin, and the one where you jump over something on a long stick. They also do multiple types of running. The javelin options are for high school kids, but I knew it would be something our son would love and we have the perfect shaped yard for practice! I measured the D1 #1 throw length for boys his age and he's only 2 ft away from beating it!This Javelin is built well, the correct weight, it functions as it's supposed to and it looks nice. At this price, it's a great option for younger kids and whoever else needs a 400g. Would recommend! Shipping was reasonably fast with it showing up about 5 days later.
