Neat solution with 8 x plug sockets and 4 x usb
We are just about to move to a new house, and one that has very little in the way of handy accessible power pockets in the bedrooms. We do intend to eventually get new sockets properly installed, but in the short term we needed a extension to allow to run our phones, bedside lights, laptop, hairdryer etc with out a sprawling mass of wires everywhere. This seemed to be an ideal solution as not only do you get 8 sockets but you get 4 USB slots too so it's great for phones etc. It's a small tower shape with 2 sockets on each of the four sides, and the 4 x usb socks in between one side. There's two red switches on the top which turn on or off each set of 4 plug sockets, so you can divide them into those you permanently want to keep on (bedside clock and radio in our case) and those you only want to turn on when needed (like our hairdryer). I mention it's small because it's a lot smaller than I expected it to be, and it doesn't take up much room at all. The power cord in 2 metres long, which is nice as our plug socket isn't that close to the bed.The USB sockets are great and I love that these are becoming standard on new power strips these days as it does away with the need for separate phone and laptop chargers. The only thing I do miss is Quick Charge 3.0 support, but I understand that would add a lot to the price. As this is used next to our bed it's not as issue anyway as we are leaving our phones to charge overnight. The Good Stuff:Small and compact4 x USB sockets2 x Power on/off switchesThe not-so-good stuff:Nothing - I'd love QC support but understand I won't get it for this priceIn conclusion then this is a very small and neat solution to allow you to plug up to 12 devices in at one (assuming you have 4 x usb devices). Having the two switches is a nice feature and it all seems well made.

Solve all your charging problems in one go. Brilliant!
We were quite surprised when this beauty turned up. It was tiny! Is that a bad thing? Absolutely not! So if you look at the picture and are considering buying, just try to imagine the size of two plugs sat side by side, and a little extra on top. This is how high it is - not very at all. Which is wonderful! Yes I know it should have been obvious but it's one of those where you look at the picture and imagine it being completely differently sized than what it is.So - we live in an old house that's in dire need of a rewire. Can't afford it, but desperately need more plug sockets. We have an array of wires, extension cables and it all looks pretty hideous. We fight over who gets the plug socket to charge up our mountain of mobile devices. I'm sure many of you can empathise with this scenario! A friend recently showed their newly installed plug sockets with added USB ports. They looked amazing - but cost a fortune to have installed around her house. If you don't have the luxury of loads of money, of need a multi-plug socket that's a little more portable - then this is for you. With 8 plugs, in a clever tower style so the plug wires don't clog or prevent plugging in (as some badly laid out 4 or 8 way sockets struggle with), it's brilliant. And then as if it couldn't get any better - you have dedicated USB ports too. And these auto adjust the charging rate for different devices. So I don't have to have all these annoying USB plug adapters all over the place. On top of that - and the bit that was certainly concerning with a contraption like this - is that there is a surge protector. Believe me - you don't want to get something that doesn't have your back covered like that (been there, done that, never again).Brilliant item, and the cheap way of keeping up with technology demands in a house that wasn't built for tech.

Great design and well executed product
This is an excellent product. I had a traditional power strip in the bedroom but the area was getting messy and I was attracted to the idea of getting a smart power strip, which would allow me to switch off easily and conserve energy at times. I found this on searching and I'm delighted with it and with the price which is currently under £24. I think the design of the product has been well thought through - it's very compact and there is space to allow the plugs to coexist without rubbing up against each other. As a bonus there are four USB port, which simplifies how many items need access to a plug. It's not the most beautiful object but it won't scare the horses in white and grey and it's compact and stops some of the eyesore of wire jumbles.I have just ordered another one for the jumble of plugs in my living room entertainment area.

Excellent product and great value for money.
Very good value for money, so good that I bought another. Bought the first one for the home office (WFH now) and was nice to be able to free up some plugs as this has 4 USB charging/power points. Bought another for the living room instead of buying another 4 point extension lead for the ever growing number of gadgets that is needed in a living room. Very small footprint, very sturdy and look nice.

Good Value
Stylish and takes less desk space than 'traditional' power strips. 4 USB sockets are a bonus.
