HerculesMS401B Microphone Stand

Brilliant!! Straight out of the box I unfolded it, tried it in different positions and it works great. At £42 it's about three to 4 times more expensive than the cheapest alternatives out there, but far, far superior in function and quality. I have owned two of the cheaper alternatives and both broke - but more than that they were a right pain in the @ss to use when they were working!!The quality is outstanding, as are the Hercules Guitar Stands. It's weighty (so very stable) but folds up easier and more compact than the cheaper ones I had - and also looks tidy when folded (and in use), which is great in a relatively small music room th`t is an art to keep tidy and uncluttered.

Hercules one of best makes out there for strength and long lasting and this didn't disappoint. Easy to put up and adjust. You can alter the angle of whole stand so it leans towards you too. Used for singing and helps with space for dancefloor, rather than have a boom sticking out towards audience. Happy with product.

Not cheap, but a pretty effective and sturdy stand. Good quick-release pistol grip height adjuster, variable-position fold-out feet, seems to hold its position very well once adjusted, unlike some stands. Angles nicely towards the singer if required, especially convenient in tight spaces because you can have all three feet pointing back towards the performer and not in the audience area. Doesn't fold down quite as compactly as some, but that's OK. Didn't get on particularly well with the supplied mic holder, but it's a standard thread so soon swapped that around for my favoured type of holder. I'd say this is a good buy (so far)

I bought this stand to replace a cheaper one that wasn't up to the job. This one is just perfect for what I need. Works straight out of the box, includes a good mic clip. I own other Hercules stands and they have never let me down. (please note that the microphone and shield in the photo are NOT included :))

Very sturdy mic stand that looks better than a standard boom. Easily reaches over my Headrush pedalboard with zero wobble or flex.

Covered in sticky greece that would not come off, plastic handle split - sent it back.

I was tired of all the so called pro mic stands that just didn't seem to be fit for that label, so I when for this Hercules since I've a few of their guitar stands & just can't fault them.This is what I call a pro stand, solid as you will ever need. Love the Quik-n-ez grip control. It's doubles as a quick boom stand too. Love it 😃

Made to the usual high quality I expect from Hercules, very solid constructionInnovative leaning design means you can keep the mic stand feet away from the vocalist.
