This holster carries my work scanner with ease. The belt clip fits easily over my belt and stays in place, the clip does position the scanner a little higher up on my waist than expected. I adjusted to the new placement quickly and no longer have to sit in a awkward position like my previous work issued holster. The elastic bands work well at keeping my scanner contained. At first I wasn't sure if they would be enough but after a few weeks of use I can fully trust the containment. The elastic bands make it much faster to retrieve and reholster my scanner. The felt on the inside has done its job of protecting the screen from abrasions. As a side benefit it helps remove light dust and powder from the scanner screen. To clean the felt after a few days of powder build up I have been using a can of air and it seems to get the powder off well. Eventually I may put it through a wash cycle, but it may not be necessary.After other coworkers have seen me with this holster and witnessed the durability, ease of use, and maintenance they are now interested in buying their own.

I am a waitress/bartender and we switched over to the toast system and I can't fit my handheld in my pocket bc it's too big so this works!
