Don’t be stupid like me…
At first, it was really spotty and needed to be rotated and have continuous tension to hold it in the one exact sweet spot for it to connect everything right or the mic wouldn’t work and half the audio would cut out. I was really frustrated until I realized I was the one being stupid - I didn’t realize I hadn’t seated it in all the way. It took more force than expected to fully jam the headphone end in there but after that initial struggle it connects and disconnects easier now. And now I can rotate it in the socket and the connection is solid and stable, not even a crackle. So if it’s acting touchy with only one spot that seems to connect right, maybe double check it’s fully seated in the socket and use a tad more strength than expected. Now that I figured out my issue, it works fantastic!! Great sound and mic transference, nice and clear with no crackles even when it’s moved around or rotated in the socket. And it fits nice and snug in the connecting socket so it won’t easily slip out when jostled or lightly tugged. Love it!

It's good, works as it should.
Cable quality is good and there is no compromise to sound. Does exactly what it should. 5 stars.

Good quality
Overall build quality is very good. Unfortunately it didn't work with my system: home-built PC with external Bose Acoustimass speakers. Put my meter on the leads and all tests showed less than a tenth of a ohm resistance. Tested on newer laptop and worked flawlessly.

Works with RAZER Black Shark V2 and SoundBlaster Headphone Hub...
I Just recently purchased the Black Shark V2 Limited Edition headset from RAZER. Once the item arrived, after being held at customs for nearly week for a mistake made by RAZER… I went to plug the new headphones into Sound Blaster Headphone hub, which came with my soundcard… And to my Disappointment, the headphones were grossly distorted and would not work properly. After a little re-search I found that the male 3.5 jack for the headphones was a 4 pole and would not work with a regular female 3.5 headphone jack.I contacted RAZER support on numerous occasions regarding this issue, because no mention of the compatibility issue, or the fact that the headphone jack was 4 pole, was mentioned on their website for the Black Shark V2 Limited Edition, in specs or else ware. I also asked RAZER tech support if they made a splitter for their Black Shark V2 Limited Edition, to which they replied “NO”. I then asked the RAZER technician if I could use a third-party splitter, and if it would work…To which RAZER replied, im sorry but we can not confirm if a 3rd party splitter will work with the headphones (note, that other headphone manufacturers, such as Steel-Series offer them, or include them with their head phones)After, getting off the merry go round with RAZER tech support (which was about useful as used toilet paper) and left with no other option, other than to return them… I decided to purchase the splitter as a last resort, before I shipped the headset back to RAZER. I did use RAZER’s USB adapter, and found it severely lacked the amplification and equalization that my SoundBlaster sound card and my ZEN DAC provides…Luckily, the splitter worked flawlessly and with 0 distortion… and I was able to use the headphones and mic with no issues on STEAM and Discord with no issues whatsoever. For the audiophiles who are worried if the splitter will degrade the sound when using with an external DAC, such as a IFI Zen DAC, rest assured this splitter is going to be your best friend when you plug in your 4-pole gaming headset…The UGREEN spliiter is good quality, built well and had no audio degradation from what I could hear… For the price, you would be hard pressed to find a better splitter! I would highly recommend this product, as well as the RAZER Black Shark V2’s. The audio reproduction with a DAC AMP is Amazing…RAZER tech support receives no recommendation…

Unable to make microphone work and no stereo sound.
Update: Emailed their customer support and after a few emails they issued a refund. So, can't complain about the service after the sale. Will probably try again if I can't find one in a local store.Purchased this adaptor for 4 pole Razer gaming headset. The headset works fine when used as either a microphone or headphone. Bought this adaptor to obviously do both at the same time. Tested on 2 different gaming PCs (each is a different brand). Microphone will not work on either. Can't use the microphone by itself through the adapter or at the same time as the headphones through the adapter. Also, on both machines when using the headphones, it's not in stereo. Confirmed just using the headsets without the adapter audio works fine. Guessing, some wiring is broken or something.
