It’s always hard to review vitamins and supplements because how do you know if they’re working? I’ve been putting one scoop of this in my green smoothie in the mornings. It’s only been a couple week but with this, the prebiotics, probiotics and digestive enzymes my stomach is feeling a little better more often. My microbiome is messed up from 2 rounds of antibiotics 9 months ago so bad bacteria had taken over but I think this is helping, I’ll continue to take it.

Incredible product. I had Lyme and leaky gut and Candida overgrowth and pylori, and lots of brain fog. I’m taking many different supplements and herbs to combat Lyme but when I started taking this l glutamine , before the Lyme Herbs when I was trying to first get Candida and h pylori under control this worked like magic. My brain fog started to recede and I was able to remember things more. Short term memory restored. I am taking it every morning and evening 1 scoop with gastromend it’s another product recommended by my doctor. It has mastic gum, Dgl and zinc carnosine they all together seem to have healed the gut a lot. And that is very import also due to Lyme I’ve got terrible muscle inflammation and this seems to help. The only drawback is water retention. So just be prepared you might puff up. Sending you blessings for speedy recovery 💕

This was one of the supplements our Naturopath recommended for my daughter, who we first believed was dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis, to help with the "leaky gut" issue she had developed (she was pretty much becoming allergic to almost all food!)... She began to feel a bit better once she was taking this, and was able to eat a little more variety as time passed.Flash forward to over a year later, when we eventually learned she actually was suffering from Lyme disease, and being given a whole new supplement regimen to accompany the antibiotics she's now taking, she felt continuing this item was one she could drop since she's dealing with SO many things now.WRONG! Within a week, she was feeling terrible, and after resuming this routine (she mixes 1 teaspoon in glass of water twice a day on empty stomach), she was back to feeling as good as one with Lyme disease can hope for. Going off of it for such a short time was a clear indication of what it was doing to help her Lyme disease caused "leaky gut."(Her real or main symptoms btw, were in her knees, which is why doctors believed she had developed arthritis at age 16, when one knee began aching, eventually swelling up like crazy and was unable to move it. It eventually spread to her other knee, although never as bad as the left one. She is now 20, so has a long journey working towards recovery, and this product will perhaps be something she will need for life, unless her body manages to heal from the crazy things this kind of disease can cause.)

I actually received the 12 oz product, not the 13.5 oz that was pictured. The 12 oz product has finer powder than the 13.5 oz and comes with a smaller scoop, so there are still 96 servings even though the container is much smaller. Compared to the 13.5 oz product, the 12 oz product dissolves MUCH better and doesn't leave white residue inside the glass after mixing and drinking, which always made me wonder how much was wasted. I am taking a medication that is hard on the gut and this product has really helped soothe my poor unhappy tummy. It barely has a taste. I take it on an empty stomach 20 minutes before eating. I also take it in the middle of the night if my tummy is talking to me. Great product!

I started seeing way less bloating and had little to no gas issues within a week or so after starting to use this consistently. I originally looked into taking L-glutamine because I was always bloated and wanted to try to fix my gut health. I’m sure also taking probiotics and prebiotics would help as well but with this alone I’ve see a HUGE difference. On the norm, there wouldn’t be a day that went by where I wasn’t bloated by 4pm, it was extremely rare so this is like my holy grail. ONLY thing I noticed was I use the restroom less for the number two.. I would be very regular more than once a day and now go maybe like once a day. YES this is tmi, but I feel like it’s good to know if you’re thinking about purchasing this product and have issues with going number two in general.Before purchasing I did see other people mention this as well (may cause constipation).Flavor-wise it tastes like Alka-seltzer.. I usually just mix with some sort of drink that will mask the flavor. Not the worst but I hate drinking it with just water (for the plain flavor).
