Good value for money
The best thing about this set is the value for money.It’s 80gsm paper, which feels thick and is nice to write on. At the time of purchase it was more reasonably priced than other options (clairefontaine, Oxford, pukka pad), particularly those with hard covers. I know some of the others offer higher quality paper (90gsm- oxford and clairefontaine), but I was happy to stick to 80gsm.Admittedly, it doesn’t do as good a job when comparing it with pukka pad jotter (also 80gsm), where the other page is less visible (photo provided for comparison).I write with a fountain pen most of the time, but I do used other pens as well. I think it does a good job accommodating all types (photo shows different pens and inks), particularly the very inky uni-ball AIR (broad).Writing is visible on the other side of the page, however I don’t believe it is intrusive so I’m personally happy with that. Obviously if want something even less visible, then you’d have to go for a 90gsm.The cover is a hard back and the design in fairly neutral, which is what I was looking for. All in all, very happy with this set and will probably buy them again.Hope this helps!

I was looking for some hardback A5 notebook and those ones met all my criteria that I was looking for!

They're fine but the price point is insane now
I first bought these in January 2020, they were £6.99. The second time I bought them, in April 2023 they were £9.73. I don't know how it's now doubled now.
