I bought this for my Comgrow Z1, fully expecting to have to modify it - but it was fairly straightforward. The main thing is to determine placement on both the laser and the gantry plate such that when adjusted fully down, it is at the lowest practical position for cutting, eg. something as thin as paper. This way you don't waste any downward travel, and maximize potential upward travel.It required drilling and tapping 8 holes for M3 screws. 4 on the laser head plate (as far to the top as possible), and 4 on the gantry plate. First attach to the laser head, then place against the gantry plate to determine where to drill/tap.

I rated this 5 stars because it's the closest thing to what I imagined for a z height adjust.I used this on my Comgrow Z1, and it only needed minor modifications to work. Just a couple holes widened on the mounting plates to accept slightly different measurements.I cannot say if this fits for the lasers it was designed for, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do with minor work.

Low quality and not for hard work

This product is made well. I bought this to upgrade for my Ortur LM3... granted I had drill 2 extra holes in the plate to make it fit correctly. But for the price, well worth the purchase... Other brands I have tried worked well for awhile, but Crack too easy being made of acrylic.. Highly recommend this for Ortur users.

Hey guys. This worked out to be perfect and easy to install. Love it. But I have a problem. I have a laser master 2 and this pushes my laser forward to the point where my limit switch can’t be hit. So basically, my laser is now running into the frame. Did you guys come across this when you installed yours? And how would you go about fixing it?

Excellent save lots of time, would recommend this laser lifter.
