My 8 year old loves it
I purchased this for Christmas for my 8 year old son and he loves it! It's really convenient that it comes in a acrylic container that keeps it neat and compact when we put it away.

Extremely high quality engineering and design
52toys' Beastbox line is at its best when the initial concept of a cube that turns into an object requires extremely clever engineering to achieve its goal, and Demon Dart is a shining example of what this engineering excellence can look like. The transformation on display isn't overly complex, but it's nearly all dramatic, somewhat mind blowing movements that effortlessly reshape the cube form into a mechanical beetle that would be an impressive piece even if it didn't transform. The presentation is excellent, too- the paint applications, tactile feel of the plastic, and color blocking of the plastic colors lead to a very high quality feel which compliments the engineering brilliantly. This is an exceptional triumph in literally every regard save for perhaps articulation, although I'd argue not much more was needed to make the beetle satisfyingly playable.

Annoying Stickers/No shipment box
As the title implies, there was no box that the product arrived inside of and as such was shipped as is. The box itself is pretty dinged up but the toy inside it fine. They also stick the shipping label right on top of the plastic display window for the Beast Box itself. As someone who really liked the packaging of this, the damage and poor sticker placement makes me take off a star as I would have liked to display the box AND the Toy.Negatives aside, the product overall is really cool! Joints feel solid and not weak, the missles don't rattle around and sit snugly into the wings, and over all it makes for an interesting display piece! Would just really love to see the inclusion of further protection for the product and moving the Shipping Label somewhere else.

Fantastic figure. Accessories are a swing and a miss(ile)
This is a phenomenal figure, and yet another triumphant example of how 52toys is one of the best manufacturers of transforming action figures. But this triumph is not universal. Unless you think the missiles are absolutely necessary for the figure, do yourself a favor and store them in a bag. Not because they’re difficult to attach, quite the opposite, but they’re both easy to lose, and difficult to store. The second piece of advice I’ll give you is ignore the instructions when they tell you to put the missiles in the mask. After speaking to fellow collectors of this line, it is physically impossible to store both in the mask in cube mode, regardless of which version of the mold you get. Save yourself the anxiety and just place them on the carapace. In cube mode. They store without damaging the missiles or figure. And with those issues out of the way, DANG, this figure is amazing. It does an amazing job with its bug legs, not only in the age old conundrum of where you shove them on a transforming figure, but also in terms of articulation. They can stand freely without the use of a figure stand, and are jointed in a way that allows the collector to remain in control of how the legs are posed. The mask gimmick is also charming, and makes the light piping even better when the eyes shine from under the visor. The transformation is also rock solid, and makes me wish there was a variant of this figure that turned into a blue stag beetle. If you’re fond of Japanese superheroes, you probably know what I’m talking about, but if you don’t, all you need to know is that demon dart is worth the investment.

Complicated bug
This was complicated, but once I did the transformation more more and more the more I understood it, its nice that it turns into a cube then a beetle, and the price is nice
