Amazing - like sleeping at home
This mattress is amazing! I was initially thinking of getting one of those 4-5 inch thick air only camping mattresses for around $50-60, but after contemplating the relatively debilitating lower back pain I have from laying on surfaces that are too firm, I went with this one for about 5x the price. I was unsure about that decision until after our camping trip, and wow am I glad we got it! It was like sleeping on my own bed at home. I cosleep with our 5 month old and our 3 year old snuck in with me during our camping trip, so I really appreciated that when I got up, their part of the mattress didn't move at all. The thing takes up a lot of space when packing, but I am excited to have comfortable camping trips for years to come.Bonus that there was almost zero smell when we opened up the package! We're a non-fragrance added type of family.

So comfortable for camping/glamping!
I have the smaller blue one (75" x 25" x 4.5") and my husband has this one in brown that's longer and wider. They are pretty heavy so definitely not for hikers, but we can move them the several feet from the car to a tent pad just fine. We've been popping them on top of the ($67 here on Amazon) ultralight Marchway camping cots and it results in an easy to use, very comfortable sleeping set up. I don't have as much room side-to-side, but it feels very similar to my nice bed at home. Now that we've traded in our 4 man dome tent for a taller 6 man tent, we might eventually go for taller cots, but as I read through the reviews, I'm really not sure the taller cots will be as comfortable and easy to set up as the ones we already have? (I would welcome more storage space underneath and something a little easier to sit on and get in and out of, however.) The R value on these pads is 13 and it has made a nice difference on cold nights when we're up in the mountains. The kids just use therma-rest type pads on their ultralight cots and they have mentioned being terribly cold on some of their overnights. We've been snug even down to near freezing temps when we're in our bags on these pads. They pretty much self inflate, but hubby has an easier time than I do deflating them by using his weight to push the air out as he rolls up the pad. We also have the Lost Horizon pump. It makes fast work of inflating and deflating the pads, but I'd say it's not totally necessary. They roll up well and fit into the included bags which have a nice roll-top design that seems to keep them secure from bugs, dirt, etc. If you camp as we do, where it's only a few feet from your vehicle to the tent, I highly, highly recommend these. We bought these two years ago and they've been wonderful for us!

Finally, a Mattress That Moves With Us and Feels Just Right
We rent and move often, and I like to keep our possessions minimal—so I didn’t want to invest in a traditional mattress. I decided to try this one, and it turned out to be perfect! You can adjust the firmness by adding more air, which allowed me to dial in the exact support I need. After sleeping on it comfortably for a year, I bought another one for my son. When it’s time to move, I just use a pump to deflate and roll it up, making it super easy to transport. For years, I slept on a self-inflating camping mat because I couldn’t find a mattress firm enough in the U.S. Eventually, that setup felt too “temporary” for everyday life—but this mattress hits the sweet spot. It’s supportive, simple, and comfortable enough to use every night.I’d definitely take it camping too, but for me, it’s a perfect permanent bed.

So far so good
I purchased the full size mattress + portable air pump combo. I used it for the first time this evening. The mattress self-inflation worked fine and the stuff sack helped as well. However, I can tell that deflating the mattress without the rechargeable air pump would be a hassle. The mattress itself was super comfortable to lay on. Leagues beyond the basic Intex mattress that I was using before. The carrying bag is super roomy also. Just realize before you buy, this thing is large. Rolled up in the bag it’s larger than a sleeping bag. I’ve still been able to fit it in my hatchback with the back seats down and all the rest of my camping gear, though.

Most comfortable camping sleep
I’ve tried a few different camping sleeping situations, and this beats them all! Regular air mattresses always seem to loose air in the night, but because this is a combo foam/air, it stays comfortable all night. No feeling like you’re sinking into bed! My kids did jump on it, and while it’s something I discourage, it didn’t seem to affect the mattress at all.We have a Coleman 6 person “instant cabin” tent, and comfortably fit two double mattresses side by side. It was the most successful sleep set up we’ve tried with 2 adults and 2 little kids (6 & 3) so far, so we’ll definitely be using this set up going forward!

Game changer!
Absolutely LOVE this mattress! I’ve only been camping a few years and cots with pads suck. I got tired of waking up in pain every time I camp, so in my search, stumbled across this mattress. The mix of air and foam is incredibly comfortable and I have a bad back and normally wake up in pain. Last night was the first time I used it and I woke up pain free this morning. I got the twin and it’s got a lot of room to toss and turn. Now that I’ve found this I will never use another cot again.

Best air mattress we have ever purchased!
This has been my favorite air mattress I have ever used. It’s extremely comfortable, you would never believe how thin it is when you lie on it. Even sleeping on my side I can’t reach the floor. It has never gone flat on us over night and usually only needs a slight top off the next night. It is pretty large when rolled up so that is a consideration but over all it’s still the go to mattress any time we are on the road.

Glad I switched to this from an air mattress.
So much better to sleep on than an air mattress. The bag inflation tool is a pretty slow way to inflate, takes 7 or 8 minutes for me to get it inflated, but it does work and you can inflate to various level of firmness. If you'll be sleeping with two on it, dont inflate as firmly as you would for just one since it will firm up as both people are on it.
