Really pleased with the grater, suction is great and it grates easy.

I absolutely love this ! I now make my own coleslaw on a regular basis, as it's so easy to grate the carrot, and chop the white cabbage. Grating cheese is so easy, and the washing up isn't too arduous either.A great piece of kit

Grates well. Not finding that the cheese slips around the drum in any great quantity as one or two reviews suggest, we seem to get the vast majority of the cheese being grated properly, couldn't imagine it working better in that respect.The smaller grate size is a bit larger than we'd like for something like carbonara where you want the cheese to melt quickly into the sauce, but it still works okay for that, and manually grating the cheese for that with a fine grater is incredibly tedious so this is still a huge improvement for a dish that's a weekly family favourite.There's a slight knack to clipping the handle on so that could have been slightly easier but I know to push it together a little more firmly now. Feels like sturdy plastic that seems unlikely to break too readily.Sticks pretty well to our worktop compared to some reviews. If you immerse it in water when washing the base can fill up a bit then it leaks water on the counter when you try to lock it in place and that makes it a bit less effective, but I don't mind holding it down a bit when using it anyway.

Should have brought one sooner. Saves time and hassle. Can grate straight into a bowl without fuss. Cleaning is nice and easy.Particularly handy if you have poor mobility in your hands! Well worth the price.

It does a good job grating, but only three stars as it does not stick to any surface. Nevertheless, it works well when you get the knack of holding it down and turning. I sometimes have trouble getting the handle on, but that's probably me.

I have arthritis in my fingers and wrists and I struggle when slicing or grating foods because of this I’ve looked into buying one of these ‘gadgets’ for a while.I read mixed reviews about this but for the price I thought I’d give it a go and I’m impressed, really impressed!I grated 2 1/2 huge cheese blocks in less than 10 minutes and 2 full cucumbers in 5. It is simple to set up and very sturdy,I haven’t grated or sliced any carrots - that’s a weekend job.

Really pleased with this purchase! I batch cook cheese scones so grating 300grms of cheese by hand was hard work! The igloo grater makes light work of it on both coarse and fine attachments. Also excellent for carrots! Haven't tried anything else yet! Washes easily enough by hand. Great product!!

OK it's not the most carefully crafted thing in the world, but it was very easy to put together and worked like a charm. Like others have said the suction bottom is not very strong but the smoother the surface the better it is. That said it's not essential for the sucker to be strong.The small grater can actually spiralise, but to stop it doing that I just did a half turn forward and a small movement back and continued doing that and it grated fine. Nothing got jammed and you don't need much pressure on the block at the top.Far from staining with carrots mine cleaned easily in soapy water. I realise now I've used it just how long I've needed it! Very well pleased with my purchase.
