But not as heavy and cumbersome as some of those huge flashlights that used to be so popular.It comes with a perfect little case that holds the flashlight as well as the battery holder piece (for 3 AAA batteries (included in the purchase).It also has a holder to hook it onto your belt. The only downside is that if you want to be totally prepared and always have power, you need to carry the battery cell with you because the flashlight can’t hold BOTH the rechargeable battery AND the AAA battery cell at the same time. They must be switched out of the handle (which unscrews) in order to change between the two power sources (the rechargeable battery and the regular AAA batteries).But the entire kit is on sale right now and it’s basically a steal! I bought some for Xmas presents because this price can’t be beat.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This flashlight arrived on time, well-packaged, and just as described. It’s impressively bright, with an adjustable beam that ranges from wide flood to focused spot. I really like the battery flexibility, it comes with a rechargeable battery and also works with regular AAAs, which is a huge plus for camping or emergencies. The charge indicator is accurate, and the switch feels sturdy. I’ve dropped it a couple of times and it still works perfectly, though I haven’t had it long enough to speak to long term durability. The build feels heavy duty, and it’s reassuring to know it’s water resistant and impact-resistant. Overall, a great value.

My friend recommends it to me, it’s s great purchase! This flashlight has a bit of weight to it and feels sturdy, not like it’s made of flimsy plastic. There are five light mode and It’s rechargeable, I like it !

The flashlight is a good value for the price. Very solidly made, and insanely bright - way more so than some [larger] Eveready aluminum flashlights I bought for similar money. I always appreciate when the manufacturer uses a replaceable battery for their rechargeable feature (which this has), so that when the battery eventually dies you can replace just it without dumping the entire flashlight.I knocked one star off for two reasons: 1.) I have owned numerous "tactical" flashlights like this, and every single one has the ability to focus the beam to narrow or wide by twisting the head. The instructions made no mention how, and I was turning and twisting to no avail, thinking maybe mine was defective. Until, just trying everything, I found you grab the head and slide it out (or in) to adjust the focus! It works fine, but being different from most every other one I have tried I wish it mentioned this somewhere.2.) The second reason was that once I figured out how to focus it, the beam has a curious "windowed" effect in the spotlight mode. The picture the manufacturer provides is quite accurate in this regard. It's not a deal breaker, but it is annoying and distracting to see.Outside of clarity on how to focus, and the light pattern when focused, it's an excellent flashlight, and worth the price (with the 20% off coupon).

I had to look pretty hard to find a flashlight that takes batteries or can be charged. All of the intensely bright flashlights seem to be charge only, so this is going to be a terrific Father's Day Gift. The light is amazing, when on full brightness you have three options, very bright, medium bright and low bright. It's easy to use, just zoom front piece in and out to zero in on smaller areas or expand to full coverage, which we use at night to ensure our yard is safe for our dog. Along with various brightness choices, there's a strobe if someone needs to find our camp site, and an SOS feature if trouble occurs.It comes in a case, is very sturdy and water won't harm it. In short, it's everything I want in a light and more. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Would buy again it was fairly priced. It was super bright and when the power goes out or I'm in the woods it's nice to have. It's rechargeable which is a plus but also can run off of regular batteries which is nice to be interchangeable like that. It's durable and come with a carrying case.9/10

came on time, packaged well and as advertised. Its bright and can be spread to wide focused to narrow beam. Charge indicator works well, switch seems durable and holds charge fairly well. I haven't had it long enough to give a durability rating but have dropped it a couple times and it still works. being able to switch to regular batteries is great for camping.I like it and would definitely buy it again.

Sooooo, I bought this Flashlight for a non traditional use…… I shoot videos of performances in a dimly lit local bar. I used this last night to shoot a show that lasted about 2.5 hours, the humongous battery only shows it dropping about 25% of charge. That BLEW MY MIND! The other thing I love, it has 3 brightness levels, the first 2 were blinding the performers and when I used the lowest brightness it offers the complaints stopped but still offered plenty of illumination for me to shoot beautiful 4K footage with my phone.
