Very thick and soft.
Super thick spongey material. Much more comfortable than just a bare bar. Fit an Olympic sized bar just fine. Seems durable as long as your dog doesn't chew on it. Seems great so far overall.

This barbell pad is a great addition to my gym gear. It provides thick, comfortable cushioning that makes a big difference during heavier lifts. I primarily use it for hip thrusts, and it really helps reduce the pressure on my hips. It’s also versatile enough to use for squats or lunges if you want extra protection on your shoulders or neck.The only downside is the fit—it doesn’t completely wrap around the bar, no matter how tightly you secure it. It still stays in place during workouts, but it would be nice if it closed more snugly. Overall, though, it’s a solid product that adds comfort and support where it counts.
