Q: Im concerned about the St. John's Wort oil are you sure it doesnt contain phloroglucinols?

St Johns wort is safe for cats in the quantities that are in the paw butter. Specific phloroglunol compounds do exist naturally in St Johns worst so they may be present (given…I’m not the manufacturer of this product) but the quanitities are not harmful for cats. My veterinarian recommended this brand specifically to me. They sell several other options on site, but because they’re made for dogs, he told me to order this instead. I had another cat die from toxic exposure (lead in our drinking water) and we won a settlement against our vet’s office bc we brought him in many times before his situation was critical, so I know that he takes potential toxicity to my cats very seriously and wouldn’t recommend a product to me that would cause negative side effects for the cats.

Q: How oily does this leave their fur if you have to put it on a furry spot?

Not oily at all. It rubs in and absorbs quickly!

Q: Will this help reduce horned calluci?

Yes, like hyperkeratosis, horned calluci is the overgrowth of keratin. Paw Butter is great for both conditions.
