Great tool to remove hooks
If you fish swallowed the hook, just grab of of these, thread the line in the groove and push it down into the gullet of the fish. Viola'! Out comes the hook! Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy!

Work as advertised
Work as advertised. Thought they would float. They unfortunately don’t.

Simple Fishing Tool
Standard fishing tool. Came with two sizes. Small size was perfect for trout and the bigger sized one worked for bass. Simple red plastic makes it easy to find in the tackle box. Best price for a dehooking tool.

Fishing hook removal
For me it is a bit difficult to use . But better to have and not need than need and not have .

Easy to use
I don't fish much so I'm not expert at anything, especially getting swallowed hooks out of fish. This is a simple, easy method to cover the barb of the hook so the hook can be extracted without damage. Pliers can grab the hook but the barb is still exposed and will surely gut the fish as the hook is pulled out.

I prefer that there is no metal
Arrived in two days. Will not be able to use for a while, however appear both durable and strong enough to suffice.

Probably works great for fish, not quite so for people
As it is the time of year to inquire whether or not the fishing permit includes privileges to catch humans, I was looking for something better than my usual tools (18 Ga needle, umbilical tape, and wire cutters). I much prefer minimally invasive removal methods, so this looked promising. It would be nice to have a small one that is even smaller than the smallest of this set, and it would also be nice to maybe make it from a higher-temperature plastic. I don't know about you, but I only have access to an autoclave and not ethylene oxide sterilization in my office. These were very simple to sterilize in the standard pouches, but all of them failed to survive the cycle intact. As this is not the intended use, I'm only knocking off one star. They probably work perfectly fine for fish, and the fish won't care if they are not properly processed and sterile for single-fish use only.
