Blackhawk to Safariland Cross Platform Adapter

100% gets a Blackhawk Omnivore or old Serpa holster to mate up to a Safariland QLS Fork.

I I bought three of these for me and my sons. We installed them on Blackhawk Omnivore holsters to use Safariland QLS forks with the Blackhawk holster. The adapter is well made from alluminum and comes with all of the hardware needed to install the product. It was very easy to install and we'll worth the price.

I just received this adapter and installed it. I agree with the others that it's a bit overpriced for what you're getting. But in the manufactures defense, it's well designed, it's a quality product, very sturdy and it's made in the USA. For me that still means something. When installing pay attention to the sides being adapted. The recessed side attaches the the Blackhawk holster, mine is the Serpa olive drab. Then use some tape to secure the Safariland set connectors to hold them in place. Without doing this, its very difficult to install the Safariland QLS. Take your time with it, and tape the screws in place, merge the two and tighten it down. When your done it's going to give you just another option, and options are always valued. Totally worth it. I'm buying more for my Coyote Brown system.

I think there's a few other people making this at a more accessible price. I ended up by buying everything here and avoid several different shipping incomes.The placard do the job nicely. It is solid, well made and slim enough to keep a good profile of the holster. The 3d printed versions needs to be more fatty in order to have a stiff and steady grab. Screws fit perfectly and finally I can put my level iii blackhawk holster to run with my Safari plataform.

First of all about damn time someone make an adapter for the two holster eco-systems. In the past you have to pick either Blackhawk or Safariland. With this adapter you won't have to sell and rebuy everything.The adapter plate is light as heck and installation isn't too bad, just match the holes and screw everything in. But....the plate thickness is a little bit thin so the screw socket with the spikes will dig into your UBL/QLS plates and damage them a little bit. Not a biggie as long as you install them correctly the first time and you can buy new QLS/UBL plates anywhere if they get too bad. Second problem is that the caps on the provided screws are a bit small, I ended up using the extra screws that came with all the original Safariland/Blackhawk holsters that I brought and they work a lot better.I've read previous reviews and say that the price is kind of high, I do agree but eww I just chuck it up as paying for an American made product.If they make the adapter plate thicker and provide better screws for future batch it would have been a perfect 5 stars product, but until then only 4. Do I still recommended this product? Hell ya!!

This thing is exactly what I needed. I have a Taser 7 in a Blackhawk holster that I needed attached to a Safariland QLS. I prefer my Taser in the Blackhawk holster because my TQ is mounted to the front of it. The Safariland QLS is obviously not compatible with a Blackhawk holster and this gadget resolved that issue very quickly.Just remember; BLACKHAWK SCREWS ARE THICKER AND WILL NOT WORK WITH SAFARILAND THREADS. So, don’t lose those.Also, an easy way to prevent the little washer things (don’t know what they’re called) from falling out is to tape them and then remove them once everything is screwed in. Very easy to install and it’s solid.

Great product it helped me marry my Blackhawk holster with my Safariland hardware in my battle belt setup.

Using in between my Blackhawk! Omnivore and Safariland QLS. I was considering modifying the QLS to fit. But when you consider that you need to ad spacers to make that work it makes this a much better option. Came with everything and was very easy to install. Highly recommended quality product.
