The pieces could have been bigger However it was packaged nicely and came in handy to teach my toddler

Bought these for our 4 year old. She does not know her letters but can match up the shapes, and together we make the sound of the letter. Once completed, we sound out word using each letter sound. I didn't anticipate that the b, d, and p are all one tile. I wish they would have painted just one side to help the child better identify and correctly position the letter. The same with m and w. I also, probably didn't read it clearly enough, was a bit surprised that there are words on both sides of the card. It has worked out just fine as I baggie the card and letters and didn't have to add in "extra letters" to help her discern.

Exactly as pictured, my kiddos are definitely a fan of the variety of colors. The wood letters are thick enough to survive the rough tough and tumble life. Super easy to use and understand: there is one pair (2 total) of each letter and no words on the cards need 3 of one letter. The only downside at all is also its greatest feature: the letters on the cards are the same color as the letter you need. Why is that a problem? Yellow is very hard to see lol but otherwise fantastic, and I won’t fault them for that because yellow is a primary so oh well!

So the bag & the letters are nice, and so is the material of the cards, but actual words on the cards, as well as their associated images, could def be improved. The concept that the color outlining the letter on the card "matches" the color of the letter is great, but not fully executed as the colors don't match. Additionally, some of the words &/or the images are bizarre & not relevant to a 2-3 year old & either the picture doesn't match or there's too much going on in the photo. I would have liked to see simpler, more recognizable words like TREE, TIRE, LEAF, etc. Instead, there's words like "thin" & "trip" that aren't easy concepts to explain or draw on a single flashcard. Lastly, there's not a single word provided in the deck that involves the letter 'q' so... 🤔The price is good, but now I have to take my time to create my own flash cards, I guess.
