Love it
Ahh the ubiquitus YoJimbo! Love it, designed for defense yet perfectly practical for EDC. Just a great all around work horse. Comfortable ergo's, nicely balanced, fidget friendly, grippy scales, secure locking mechanism, wonderfully slicy hollow grind blade, which came razor sharp. Typical Spyderco quality. Outstanding. DO I think it's better then the Para 2....nope but it's a wonderful piece to add to your kit if you already own a Para 2 or 3.My gripes, a bit heavy for a medium folder, razor sharp spider hole on the blade. Which will cut you if deployed incorrectly. Easy to remedy but not something the consumer should have to do on a $200 plus knife.Overall it's an excellent choice and serves a multipurpose roll. Very well made and noth8ng beats the amazing action that one typically experiences with Spyderco.Highly recommend

Obscene!!
I have owned a few Spyderco knives. Some little guys and a higher end Civilian 2. This is BY FAR my favorite. Perfect weight. The handle material is amazing. This exceeded my expectations. Clip is extra tight and I already changed the orientation of it which was very easy. I'm sure the clip will loosen up a little in time. Easy to open and convenient to close. Great stabbin piece right here.

Love this knife.
This is probably my favorite knife I have ever owned super razor sharp out the box and has stand sharp and I haven’t broken the tip or deformed the tip and I use it as my EDC. Picking at other metals and what not and is still razor sharp have had for about 4 months now.

Be Wharned.
I've always thought wharncliffe grinds looked goofy like a knife unsure of what it was. On a whim, I purchased this Yojimbo 2 as it was designed and endorsed by the Martial Blade Concepts expert himself touted as the ultimate self defense knife. After receiving, I realized why I had my previous apprehensions and precisely what this knife is.Every single angle and aspect of this YJ2 knife was methodically crafted for a reason. The tapering of the handle is so your hand locks down around it while holding, the curve at the top of the blade is for your thumb to apply pressure for an energy transfer to the blade. And the blade itself.. razor sharp and powerful can't even begin to quantify. For this 3.5" feels like a 5" blade in your hand, I wholly expect this would output a bowie knife twice it's size. Just a phenomenal work of craftsmanship. That being said, I had to hone a tiny factory burr off the very tip of the blade after it came in, something no one else would have noticed. Still, I've had two factory benchmades that wouldn't stand to cut with the force this blade will. It's by far my favorite knife in the collection now and I am sold on the ways of the Wharncliffe design.

Top Design, Top Quality, and Top Service
This knife, the Youjimbo 2, has been long in high demand. When I finally found it in-stock on Amazon about 2 weeks ago, I snapped it up.I have to say that, although I am not an expert on this, this has to be one of the best folding pocket knives ever designed. I read articles about it before and wanted it. When I received the knife, I found that the fit and finish were flawless, the blade as sharp as a razor, and the feel was that of a very solid and sturdy tool. The steel used is listed out there as one of the highest-rated stainless tool steels.I had a minor "problem." The opening action was a bit stiff. I tried working the pivot a number of times, then tried a high-grade lubricant. Still stiff. I then looked up the issue on the internet and found that tactical knives were in fact adjusted in stiffness by their pivot bolts. The screws or bolts used on the Yojimbo 2 are those which take star-shaped wrenches, like the Apple iPhone, but much larger. Having had an iPhone with an issue, I had a set of such wrenches on hand.I set to with the wrench, once I had the correct size wrench in hand, and in a few seconds, loosened the pivot bolt by about 5 degrees. I tried it out. Still too stiff, but better. I then took it another 5 degrees and now it is perfect. I am sure that by making it tight, this served the manufacturer well in controlling tolerance and making tightening unnecessary for the user. Tightening can strip bolts, so it is safer to loosen. So this serves the user well. The clip mounting holes allowed me to place the clip in the correct position, so that I, a lefty, could carry it securely tip-up in my left pocket. I would prefer the clip to be black in color instead of the uncolored stainless, but that is not a flaw, just a preference. The size and quality of this knife make it a possibility as a compact survival knife, one you can trust, although the very sharp tip is a bit delicate in that role. Overall, I am very happy. As an Amazon Prime customer, the shipping is fast and efficient for me, with few delays. I am quite happy with Amazon on this as well.

Smooth, Sharp, Good Gripping EDC
Action is smooth. Blade is sharp and has a nice angle to it. American made in Colorado. Bottom of the handle could be a bit bigger, and my pinky has some open space when pressing with my thumb on top. One of the biggest reasons I bought this blade it is had a 4 position clip option. You can do both sides, and point up or point down. I love point down, and many blades now are being made point up with the option to flip to the other side but not turn to the other end. This was huge in my decision to purchase. It came point up out of the box so it will take a T6 to switch. I have another older Spyderco and this one the grip is grittier. Grips more. Not that I think my old one needed it, just mentioned the obvious feel. This is my first blade with this locking system, and it works with no play, but I prefer a frame lock for easier one handed closing. Think this will be a top daily carry for me now.
