Works as a replacement. Easy to mount and seems stick enough to stay put. Nice size and good quality.

It has a bit too much gummy stuff on the suction cup, which causes it to fail after about a year. After a year, the gummy stuff either breaks down or melts, allowing the suction to be lost as the excess gummy stuff is drawn to the center. while it’s still stuck to the window, it is not mounted in a secure position. I pulled it off the window and scraped off and pulled off most of the gummy stuff from the suction cup. The remaining sticky stuff still on the window was enough to provide a good seal with the suction cup. So after removing the excess gummy stuff, the suction cup works again. When I get home, I’ll use some alcohol to wipe off the excess gummy stuff from the window. This picture is from a slightly different brand with the section cup plate is black, but this one with a clear suction clip plate also had the same issue.

This was a fantastic replacement for the part I needed. The gel suction is the newer type and clings very well. I will definitely buy this again should a need arise or advise to buy it.

This fixed my old unit that had a ruined suction cup, and I got to keep my favorite phone holder. Awesome!

I have two other phone mounts (different brands) in my cars that I really liked. Unfortunately, the hot Florida sun took its toll on the suction cups and they basically started to fall apart. I searched for a replacement suction cup, but didn't quite find what I needed.Instead, I saw this product and figures why not? It's half the price of a full holder/mount and the phone holders I already had were fine anyway. I bought two of these and quickly swapped my phone holders onto them. They honestly seem pretty sturdy and the "ball" that is on the end that attaches to the phone holder piece was just the right size. I was able to tighten the mount to my preferred position and it's stayed in place so far.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a good phone holder that has a failing mount. It adjusts pretty well and worked in my car and SUV. You really can't go wrong with it, provided that you make sure the holder you have fits the end of the arm. The suction is good and it's stays put, so the only unknown factor is how many years of heat the suction cup can tolerate. For half the price of a whole new setup I'd say it's a no brainer.

First, the suction cup is awesome and far better than any other one I have ever used. They have that part down. The issue I have is that with my Garmin Nuvi clipped in, every bump in the road jiggles it until it is facing the dash. It never stays where you leave it. The opposite problem of the factory Garmin mount with a garbage suction cub but solid ball socket mount.
