I have used them 2 times. My initial reaction was positive. Blade was Sharp enough to cut branches up to 1/4 “ like butter. I found them comfortable on my hand, the locking mechanism is good, it takes me 2 times to get it locked so I am not sure if I need to get used to? Overall I like these pruners way better than my old Fiskars. Time will tell how long they will remain sharp.

I bought a totally overgrown 34 acre property in North Georgia, and have used these S851A pruners and the Tabor Tools GL16A loppers to help get the place under control. Excellent products! The pruners fit comfortably in my medium sized hands, and still feel good after hours of work. The locking mechanism works easily when needed. I am very impressed with the Tabor Tools products I have purchased, and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. 5-stars!!!

Kind of “old school”, meaning it seems it will last awhile. Built well, but blade needs frequent cleaning to cut efficiently. If blade was treated so it could be wiped clean, tool would be close to perfect.

We have a large, mature, landscaped yard that requires a lot of TLC. We have tried many hand pruners in the past. Before I purchased them I asked a question to find out where they were made and I received three different answers! Bummer! As someone who has had arthritic hands for many years, I have to be very careful what I do with my hands, especially when it comes to garden tools. These hand pruners beat all others I have ever tried because they have COMPOUND action, which means a little of your force goes a long way. The blade slices through everything like a knife through butter. They are ergonomic, comfortable and affordable too! I picked up a couple more when they went on sale just to have them in several areas. A great tool at a great price!
