Easy, fun ideas
Easy to implement, fun "games". I buy copies for baby shower gifts. Helps give years of activities in a format busy, exhausted parents can add to help their child develop and strengthen the bond between parent and child.

Highly Recommend!
Daughter has strabismus (vision issue with eye-turn) and one of the vision therapy groups recommended this book. It has great suggestions for babies to be active and get the brain, body and eyes to all work together.

LOVE THIS BOOK
I have twin sons who are 7 months old now. I bought the book when they were about 4 months old as I noticed my nanny had it among her items she brought on a frequent basis. The book is AMAZING! My boys love all of the activities, and my pediatrician tells me they are "extremely advanced" beyond most babies she treats! My boys were crawling by 6 months old, and they have excellent dexterity and fine motor skills. They pull themselves up already, and have begun creeping (walking along furniture while holding on, not walking freely). I know much of their advanced skills are just in who they are, but I absolutely credit this book with giving me the tools to really take them to the next level. BUY THIS BOOK - YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Book was okay, seller was amazing!
This book is great for first time moms to help keep their kids up with milestones. It has good advice to help cognitive ability and promote growth. Now that my daughter is almost two though, I don't think I've even picked up the book since she was 14 months old. i feel like we've out grown it and the advice becomes redundant. Some of the tactics seem difficult to accomplish with a sleep deprived mommy brain and grumpy baby. Other exercises require special equipment. but some don't require anything except mommy or daddy.I would recommend to others because their experiences may differ from mine. Hopefully they can get more from the book than I did.The seller was amazing, it arrived a day early with little damage from shipping. Thank you

User-friendly baby/child development help -gross motor/fine motor/play and cognitive skills
As a pediatric OT and a grandma to a baby and toddler, I am really appreciating the thorough yet user-friendly approach of this book. Great ideas that are easy to implement (often requiring nothing but your own fully-engaged self and a little time!) Highly recommend for helping babies thru age 4/5 maximize abilities/learning/motor skills and have fun doing it!

Started at 15months and its very helpful.
I bought this when my child was 16 months old. I wanted to be more intentional with developmentally appropriate activities for my son. I was pleased with the section for 15-18 month olds. Now, I know what activities to do with my son not just to improve gross motor skills like balance and walking, but also for language and brain development. I did find rolling the toddler down my legs a bit silly, but I happen to have a nice soft wedge pillow that will do the trick.Even if you already know all this info, the chances are your partner may not. Having a book like this that is quick to read and gives things both parents can do with their child is extremely helpful.... it keeps parents on the same page which in my house is a BIG blessing.

A must for the new mommy!
This is a great resource for every new mom! (and a reminder for those who've had a few!) I was amazed at all the learning/teaching helps it shows! Not only does it give you the description of how to do things, it shows pictures! I agree that a picture is worth a 1,000 words! If you are looking for a good book to start your baby off with all the benefits possible, this is a great place to start!
