The one you're looking for!
This is the one you're looking for. I've had one of these that I bought at Sally Beauty Supply for probably 15 years, and the hinge had become so loose that when I would try to comb my lashes with it the comb part would fall down, and I was afraid it was going to cause an accident. A couple of the teeth had fallen out over the years but it didn't seem to affect the efficacy. I looked at many of these before I ordered because I knew there was a chance that a lot of them were cheaply made, but I trusted the tweezerman brand. This last comb is perfect in my opinion. It's very sturdy, the teeth are sharp enough to get through your lashes even after applying mascara, but you do want to be careful because those points are sharp.

Great! Hope they never discontinue these
Third time purchasing these (over probably 12-15 years). They do a great job separating my lashes after mascara. Obviously I’ve had to buy them again because after a while of cleaning them it does become easy to pull the pins out, but they really do last a satisfactory amount of time for the price. To clean, I use makeup wipes. Don’t let the mascara dry on the comb. I do try to get in between the pins but that is tough so sometimes I wash with water and that helps but I wonder if that’s what affects the adhesive. Don’t pull on the pins while cleaning if you can help it. You can push them back in using the countertop but after a while they can fall out.

Works well
This works really well. I like that it folds up. Great for travel. I wish it was a brighter color as it's small and gets lost in my makeup back, haha.

Best Eyelash Comb- Just be careful!
This is exactly what I've been looking for! I find that plastic or rounded metal tipped eyelash combs don't separate lashes as well as this does. I find lash combs like this difficult to find in stores. The folding feature keeps it safely tucked away. The gold plating prevents rusting and has antibacterial properties. It is amazing on clumpy mascara, makes even crappy mascara separated and beautiful. It should be used once your mascara is DRY.The best way I've found to clean this is to use a makeup removing cloth to pull dry mascara out of the comb. The mascara must be dry to lift the most easily out of the prongs. You should clean this after every time you use it. It doesn't necessary have to be right after you used it, so don't worry if you're running late and don't have time to clean it. Just don't let mascara build up on it or it won't work correctly. The comb section can be removed accidently with force (as with trying to clean by pulling on the comb with a cloth), but it can easily be put back into place. It is very small and portable.Be careful with this comb, because it very, very sharp at the tips. It hurts like hell if you poke your eye with it. This happened to me, it hurt for 20 minutes and my eyes watered intensely, but I was fine. If you want to be safe, try a magnifying mirror or get close to your mirror so you can see what you're doing. Don't use it so close to your lash line, just wiggle it around the lower part of it moving up as if it was mascara. Tilt the prongs of the comb upward, vertically into your lashes, not horizontally. I hurt myself while trying to pull the comb through my lashes as I blinked, so I don't recommend doing that. If you have the urge to sneeze or blink, don't have this near your eyes.

Great for a few years
Had this product for 3 years. It worked great until the pins started falling out, and one day the plastic that hold them together completely crumbled. I like how it how's and I guess 3 years of use isn't terrible for such a small item. But would love for that to be improved in the future
