The media could not be loaded. Dilemma, have WiiM Pro Plus streamer and Shanling CD deck both with optical Out and only one optical IN with my Q Acoustics M20 active speakers. Found this product which will accommodate 3 devices with optical OUT and feed 1 Optical IN for my speakers. Switchable, compact, seemingly well made with a remote at a very affordable price. Quick hookup, great results, easy to use. Some may be disappointed not getting a plug in power source. I used one I've had for some time to provide the 5 volt requirement. Both an optical cable and power cable are supplied. Happy with purchase. Recommended.

Works well with my WIIM PRO. The Toslink sockets are snug but not overly tight. The IR remote has good range but only so so off axis response. Nice study box. Wish it came with a power supply . The power cable could be longer. I velcroed it to the top of my DAC ( only one optical input ) . A good problem solver . Get yourself a USB power strip with multiple outlets for all the little USB powered boxes !

I ordered, and received the product a day before what was on my notifications from Amazon, very nice. Opened it up, everything looked felt great, it is a quality product. I also purchased a 3 pack of 6ft long fiber optic cables to connect all my equipment to the switch. I went through the devices, and made sure that optical audio was enabled, so the signal would output to the switch. I power up the receiver, power up the PS4, power up the switch, for about a minute, everything is fine. No clicks, pops, nothing. All of a sudden, I have to unplug the cable that is highlighted, plug it back in, and it continues to work. I have swapped cables, devices, made sure power was sufficient(powered by a USB port on a USB hub nearby), and no matter which port I am using, when it first boots up, I have to unplug and re-plug the port's cable I am using, otherwise, I get no sound. Otherwise, great product, works as desired, other than having to manually remove/insert the cable for the device I am using.

I’m getting REALLY tired of all of these USB-powered devices today. They come with a SHORT USB cable and NO BLOCK for power. And the device takes 5V, not 12V, so you have to buy another charging block or get a voltage adapter to step down the voltage. WHY? Some people need these things in CARS and having to add more components is not cool. Why can’t they give the right adapter with the device and make it so you don’t need to buy other items for it to work? This is a systemic thing more than it is product-specific. I shouldn’t need to have a USB Power Block for every outlet in my house and I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to give it 5V in a car! USB blocks are ugly and bulky in your house as well. It should have a standard round 12V input port with a wall adapter for your house and can be used with a simple power port adapter for your car or hardwired directly into the vehicle’s power without needing any sort of step down converter or having to modify a USB cable to connect to a step down converter. Yeah, I made it work because I’m a professional installer, but this was WAY more work than it needed to be!

I had previously purchased another optical switch that came in at 3 times the price. It was a piece of junk, riddled with problems and never worked smoothly.This unit is bulletproof... very well made, incredibly easy to set up, and works flawlessless. All that at a giveaway price.The thing that I love most about this unit is that going from my HDMI 1 to say, HDMI3 this unit will AUTOMATICALLY switch the optical sound. I don't have to use the included remote control. This is a real blessing when you have a coffee-table full of remotes, as we do.There is no comparison between this unit and the one that was so much more expensive. THIS is the superior unit.I purchased this based solely upon the reviews others had posted on Amazon, given their own experiences.I'm truly glad I did. This unit is everything they said, and more. We are THOROUGHLY PLEASED!!!Buy this with total confidence. You won't be disappointed.
