Best and cheapest we’ve ever purchased
We have an above ground pool and have had a really hard time finding a solar cover that would last more than one season. This is the first cover that has lasted us more than one year and has been the cheapest one we’ve bought. The size was perfect for our 18 foot round above ground pool and it is decently thick for the cost. It does have a few small holes in the top of the cover for water drainage and it works great. I would highly recommend this solar cover to anyone with a pool.

Stock tank pool perfect
I have a 10 foot stock tank pool and have used this solar cover for the last two summers. It definitely helps warm it up. I’ve used the same solar cover for the last two summers, but hung it on the fence last year and made a hole so I purchased a replacement. I ended up purchasing two which should last me a good five years.

For the price its OK, but don't expect more than 2 seasons from it
I purchased mine last May (2023) and its a decent lightweight cover that does what it is supposed to do. However, it is now disintegrating in my pool. Over the course of the last month (starting in July 2024) it began ripping. It is now in several pieces and there are little round pieces of blue plastic in my pool and in my strainer basket. When I say it is disintegrating, I mean it literally. So technically it didn't even last 2 whole seasons. Keep in mind I live in upstate NY so my pool is open basically from early May to late September, and thats only because my pool is heated. In the off season it sat folded up in a bin. I gave the cover 4 stars because it is by far the cheapest solar cover you can get, and for the price I guess its an OK deal because even the most expensive ones are going to start falling apart eventually.Just realize you are unlikely to get more than 2 seasons out of this cover, and you'd be lucky to get that. I was really hoping it would get me through the rest of this season but there is no way I can continue using it at this point.

THEY WORK.
I waited THREE YEARS to write this review. I live in Dallas, TX. I use the Intex solar blankets starting in late March and again in the fall when temps start dropping. They raise the temp by at least 6 to 10 degrees, depending on the temperature. We can start swimming comfortably a LOT sooner due to these blankets and keep swimming way into late October, even November. For example, this year, I put them on the 3rd week in March. Our pool was 69 degrees. In one week, it was 73 degrees, and my grandson went swimming! They really do lengthen the swimming times here. For my pool, I purchased two 15-foot rounds and one 10-foot round. If you live where it's windy, consider using some type of poles laid on them to keep them in place. (I use our skimmer and brush with a brick on the base.) Overall, I give them five stars because they increased swim time in our pool by a couple of months during spring and fall, and they lasted three years! :)

Stores easy, works well
I bought this to replace the old one I bought in 2021. I like this one because it fits on small ladder hooks, so it takes up less space when storing it. In addition, it warms water, and it's easy to take on and off.

Solar blanket for my pool! More warm swim time.
I haven't had a chance to put it on my pool yet I just got it so I'm sure it will be just fine I've always gotten good service from Amazon and the companies I purchase things from.

Disintegrating solar cover
Bought this last year for an 18 ft dia. pool. It has since disintegrated and I bought another one.Covers used to last for at least 3 years. Maybe 4 apparently they're not made like they used to.

No Instructions
I have no issue with the cover. Looks great and should work well. They issue I have is there was no instructions - yes, it should be self explanatory. With that said, I thought I accidentally put some holes in the cover when I cut it out of the plastic bag it came in. After doing a quick U tube - the holes are suppose to be there for water drainage. Second thing is - no mention on what side goes up and which down. I assumed the bubble side went down (which it does).
