Chapin Adjustable Spray Tip Brass Nozzle

I used this to replace a fan tip on an industrial concrete sprayer wand and am pleased how well it works.

I bought a Stanley back-pack sprayer around 40 years ago, I noticed the spray was array, after looking at the brass nozzle I seen that the hole in the brass cap was worn 3 times its original size. I don't think the plastic one that came as an extra spray tip would out last me.

It does not fit my backpack sprayer. I should have returned but did not. This is for small tank sprayers only.

This cone pattern nozzle works great on my Chapin model# 19069 sprayer.I use it for weed and insect control.No problems with leaks.I always put teflon tape on all my threads just to be safe.

I totally agree with other's reviews........1st of all, you will need to add (3) 1/2" O.D o-rings to stop this from leaking when using it with Chapin's own sprayers!!!!!!!......The spray-pattern is awful, either a sharp stream, or a 120 degree heavy cone, and you can't get a fine mist if spraying pesticides. Chapin is a terrible company to deal with along with their deceptive and dangerous advertisements of their products that I caught them on regarding their Acid Sprayer which previously stated can be used to spray "Acid Cleaners" . When I bought mine, the directions clearly said the same, but their tech-service said it was not approved for Acid Cleaners, and to be used for ONLY Acid stains, so I demanded they provide me with new seals and an approved wand and they said I'd have to pay for it, and then they changed the Amazon advertisement after I wrote a scathing letter pointing out all of their goof's in the directions, ect...ect...ect..........now there are potentially 100's 1000's of unapproved Acid Sprayers on the market that can leak and cause severe burns and injuries if being used with Acid-Cleaners........ I decided to buy this nozzle which is also total garbage. Chapin is really unbelievable company, especially the one awful head tech-manager who thinks he owns the company.........

This was to replace a nozzle for a weed sprayer from CTC. Based on the pictures of it on-line I was 99% sure it was going to fit. As expected it was an exact match. The price was about the same as buying a new sprayer but I had made a modification to mine (installed a valve stem for a car tire to be able to use a compressor to pressurize the sprayer, works slick. Google the modification!) I just really needed to replace the Nozzle I lost in the grass :(
