Our house is a BIG one and my room is away from the heater, so I got this little thing and to my surprise, it works great! no noise never hot to the touch on the body, shut off switch if by chance it's knocked over, and the best thing....It's inexpensive.

We try to keep the heating to a minimum - keeps the bills down, reduces our energy footprint, and just seems a good idea to not be generally wasteful, but showers and baths can get a bit chilly during the winter months. We hate to heat up the entire house just to make the short time during bathing a bit more comfortable - one of the drawbacks of whole house central heating. We had a small electric heater that has served this purpose for many years, but this fall, it just wouldn't heat any longer, so, we did a search for a replacement. This is perfect! Very simple operation - on, off, high, low, all one really needs. It has a suitably small footprint, so that it doesn't take up a lot of floor space or get in the way of normal traffic in a small room. I was very impressed that this company has had the wisdom to sidestep the current trend to "bedazzle" everything with expensive electronics which increase the price, provide all sorts of "features" that never get used by anybody, use energy to operate - increasing the operating costs - and ultimately fail very quickly, rendering the heater useless long before it's expected life is over. This device does not have clocks, timers, led displays, multiple blinking colored lights, chimes, wifi connections or any of those other useless features - THANK GOODNESS! That is why we chose this efficient, simple to operate, heater. It DOES have a "tip over shutoff switch" which turns the heater off if it gets tipped over. While we will probably never need it, that seems an appropriate safety feature and very necessary if you have small children or pets that might accidentally tip it over - it is quite small. It works as described, heats the bath nicely, doesn't use a great deal of energy, it is PERFECT!

We purchased two heaters to use on our farm during cold snaps and power outages to keep the pipes in our pumphouses from freezing.We had trouble with one of the heaters when it arrived. It was a simple fix...the fan blade had come loose during shipping. We simply tapped it into place with a screwdriver through the back grill.All that to say....wow! We've had a furnace journey this winter that has included a dozen visits by the repairman to work on a relatively new furnace. We've been completely without our furnace for a month as we waited to resolve warranty issues. In the meantime, this heater has ran non-stop, day and night. We've augmented our heat with a heat dish when needed, but this heater was our main source of heat during that time. We kept the bath and bedroom doors closed and comfortably heated approximately 800 square feet.Our average outdoor temperature for the past few months has been around 40 degrees. We wouldn't want to rely on this to heat our home during a deep freeze, but it will definitely keep our pumphouses warm.I rarely write reviews, but the furnace repair guy just walked out the door to the sound of the furnace running! Had to share our experience so that other shoppers could get an honest review of this product. It's an excellent heater....that being said, the only one who will miss it sitting in the kitchen is Pooch. Oh well, he can go back to his former resting place on the furnace vent.

I do love this and I love the price. I use it at work when I am cold.. I also use it to dry my dog after a bath. It started to have a burn smell after less than a year. I did get another one to replace it so for the money I am very happy with it
