It includes an extra battery so you can enjoy it for about 20 min of flying. The quality of the photos are good and the app works great with iOS. Have a lot of functions and is simple to use.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is my first drone, I’m a total beginner but I was able to record this video I took with its onboard camera as soon as I was ready to fly. I have crashed so many times I think this little thing is indestructible, one time I accidentally pushed the emergency shut off button on the transmitter and little snap fell from 10 feet high onto the tile floor and the camera which is attached to the battery door came loose and I thought I had finally broken this marvel, I put it back together and it started flying again! Two of the trim cups covering the motors got lost in crashes. One of the prop guards broke but now I’m more confident flying this thing without them and now I look at my scratched up drone and the more scratched the more I love it, this thing is tough. I’m flying it better every time I fly it, by the way I clocked the flight time of the batteries and when it landed automatically it was shy of the 10 minutes (9:50’s or so) and it still comunicated with my iPhone to download video to my photos thru the air. Awesome!

I do lots of research before I buy on-line. I love Amazon's reviews AND I use Fakespot to weed out the obvious fake reviews.I was looking for an inexpensive drone with a camera with good ratings. As an Engineer, I have to say I am amazed at what you get for this low price. The market must be really competitive in this segment.Assembly:Battery #2 is inside the drone.The screws provided are extremely small. Thank goodness the screwdriver is magnetic. Even so, I dropped screws several times.You'll need bright lights and perhaps some magnification. I can't imagine replacing parts like this in the field.Wifi:Based on the questions, many people are confused about this. The drone appears on your phone as a Wifi network. Connect to it with your phone like you would any internet Wifi network. The drone Wifi is only used to connect your phone to the drone and allow you to control it.Flying:Turn on the drone.Connect phone to drone's wifi and keep the phone in your pocket to avoid losing your connection.Turn on controller.Pair controller to drone. (left stick up, then down). Beep will confirm.Calibrate the drone while it's on a flat surface. (left and right sticks to lower-right position, then both to lower-left position). Beep will confirm.Hit the takeoff button.Gain some height.Change speed to maximum. (upper left button - 2x). This increases the maximum flight angle and makes the drone more responsive. In windy conditions, the default slowest speed does not give you enough power to fight the wind.The phone app is not a good way to fly the drone for beginners.Manual:Pretty good. Microscopic font (all too common). I had to download the pdf file from the product specs so I could read it on-screen. Too many languages in the printed version.Accessories:You can buy a 4-pack of additional batteries and an extra set of replacement parts for cheap!

I took this thing outdoors once and it worked fine, didn’t fly long because I had already been testing it out indoors. Took it out for a second flight and got it up to around 30 feet...then it developed a mind of its own and took off higher and further away. Wouldn’t respond to any of the controls and lost WiFi signal, and now it’s probaby clinging for its fragile little life from the top of a tree deep in the Neverland Forest. Save your money, folks! I will add that Amazon customer service was awesome and provided a full refund, so at least there’s that.

I continue to get emails from the seller to take down my review, but their persistence will ensure that my negative review stays up. Their $30 Amazon gift card does not compare to the price we paid for their junk. Besides we were not the only consumers to have the same thing happen, a short lived experience. I checked the reviews after our drone went out of sight and many were having the same issue described below.This drone worked great until the fourth time of flying. During the fourth flight either the drone lost communication with controller or there was a catastrophic failure that caused the drone to fly straight up and then away out of sight. We could never locate the done after that and remain disappointed with wasting our money on a defective product.
