Gets the job done
I've owned probably 20 of these. They work -- 'nuff said. The magnet is helpful, too. The only issue is that I keep losing them in the attic insulation. Maybe a homing beacon would help.

Top quality static pressure tap
This is the same static pressure tap I used during a 35 year industrial career. Price is very reasonable and accuracy is unquestioned.

What is the application - may be best option.
I am not a big fan on relying on the magnet to keep the probe in place. I could not find one with a screw down mounting plate. Else, great product. If your only for testing, the magnetic mount to the surface is ideal. (I.e. temporary mount/mobile application.

Furnace set up.
Measured the static pressure on a furnace. Has a magnet that makes placing it convenient.

Great tool, but warning you only get one vise two
Purchased these for HVAC job. Amazon site looked like I was getting 2 tips and thereby made it a good deal. I also liked the larger Magnets set on the correct side of teh base unlike some other brands. Product arrived with only one. I rechecked website to see if I missread it. Website sead Probes not probe. I called the vender and they IMEDIATELY and overnighted a 2nd probe to me. I think that is very good business and I will definately buy from them again.

Wide shoulder on tube attachment
The shoulder on the fitting for the flexible tube attachment is a bit wide. The fitting either needs to be ground down or you need to heat the vinyl tubing first so it will slip on. You then have a very tight fit that is practical if you intend to leave the flexible tube attached.

Good value for the money
I purchased a pair of this with FOSHIO FT410 pressure tester. Bought a 8 foot length of 3/17" tubing from Home Depotto complete the test kit. Using this kit I tested our home central heating/cooling system. Test result confirms system isworking per design specs. When the time comes to replace the 5" air filter with heating season starting, I'd like to test and find a filter with minimum restriction in air flow. Over all I am happy to own this tool kit.
