So far I'm really liking this. I don't use any advance features, but it's snappy and has a unique low profile form factor.

This is an accurate scale, great to use when figuring out our new espresso machine but we could not justify the cost after using it a few times so we returned it.

I've yet to find the perfect coffee timer that nails accuracy, features, liquid resistance, reliability, form, and usability. This Claro is no exception, but I overall like the balance it strikes.Firstly, it's accurate. Checks out well against my calibration weights and is within 0.1g at common coffee weights. It's small and portable. It also looks pretty good and comes with a nice semi-hard zip travel case. LEDs are bright and easy to read. The modes work as described (I'm usually on the M1 for espresso), even if using the two circle buttons on either side of the display are not intuitive at all and you must read the manual first. These buttons are often dimmed and almost invisible, yet you have to know where they are to wake them up. And to change the modes, you have to double tap for each progression. Again, not everyone is going to figure that out quickly on their own.Battery life is good, and the battery level indication is front and center and you'll never be caught by surprise. Mute function is done by using the on/of switch on the side. And it comes with a silicone heat and splash guard, but inexplicably they didn't design it in a way where it even remotely wants to stay on the scale or stay centered around the display. It has a cut out that needs to be aligned properly so you don't cover the mode buttons or display entirely, and this thing just spins and slides off when you do anything.I can't call it an oversight since this is really first and foremost meant to compliment OutIn's product lineup, but being so small and having that curved display, if you use larger carafes like for use with pourovers, you may have no way of being able to see the screen. It has a pour-over mode which is great, but are likely wholly incompatible with many non-travel rigs.If you're in the OutIn ecosystem, you will have less complaints. If you are someone like me who almost exclusively pulls expresso shots this is a very good scale. Doesn't have bluetooth and it's unfortunately not water and steam proof, but it's priced accordingly and it's small, pretty, and accurate.

This coffee scale is precise and efficient. It comes with a case and charger, as well as a silicone cover that makes it easier to keep loose beans (or other things) on the scale if you're not using a container. I have left the seal with instructions for each button on so far, since the buttons aren't labeled perfectly clearly. But the seal clarifies well, and once you're used to it, the small, efficient style works wonderfully. It also has a timer to use to time your espresso pull, or pour over timing if you're someone who likes to fully nerd out on brewing the perfect cup of coffee. I can't think of anything I'd change to make this scale and timer better.
