HIC Harold Import Co. HIC Blue Willow Dessert Plates, Fine White Porcelain

I'm starting a plate collection on a white wall in my house.So, I bought this beautiful blue plate - it is the first one in my collection.I really liked the drawing, very well done, an inspiration!

I thought I was buying bowls that matched a set I already have. The image looks the same in the picture. Upon receiving the bowls I found out unfortunately that the quality of the image is not as good. The image of the bowls is blurry, not very sharp. A very cheap copy. Almost as if a picture of the original image was taken and then badly duplicated. Would not recommend buying these unless you just don't care.

These BLUE WILLOW 10.5" dinner plates are PERFECT. They look exactly like the illustration: deep blue & white in the traditional pattern. This version of the timeless classic is to my mind the best because, less white, more blue, it is not broken up with the white bands of the Churchill design, nor distracted by their fluted contour. There's no accounting for personal taste, but this one does it for me! Beautiful. Thank you!

So glad I got this bowl its just perfect for what I was looking for.. I do not like bowls that are pottery because they are too heavy for me to lift when grabbing them out of the cupboard I like to fix a large salad for myself and many bowls are either too small or just too big

I use this bowl everyday and was very thrilled when it was put up on Amazon.com for sale.As a Blue Willow collector, I just love showcasing this piece for my condiment side dishes on a daily basis. The itemwas packed beautifully and I thoroughly enjoy looking at it daily. If you love Blue Willow, this is the piece you must haveto help complete your collection.Wendy GhannamChantilly, VA

Absolutely perfect, very detailed design and well packed. However they are flattish and seem not to have a very high edge. (If you are pouring gravy it might spill over if not careful) They look beautiful with my antique (c1802) blue willow collection, which had no large plates left.. When I place them inside the large cobalt blue plates i have;they certainly make a lovely table setting. No variations in color or mistakes in detailed pattern.

Gave this as a gift to my Mom who collects Blue Willow, along with the utensil holder from this same company. She loves both of them. Nice bold Blue Willow print. Very pretty. Good price, and she's not scared to use it where it's not super expensive.

Plates are beautiful but I was really looking for smaller ones. Should have measured before ordering.Quick delivery and good sturdy packaging.

Extremely disappointed. The images on the plates are very blurry. Back of the plate is blank with a sticker that simply says "HIC CHINA". Paid almost $20 CAD per plate. Then in Home Sense I see the plates with the same image for $8 CDN with a crisp image, and the back of the plate says "Johnson Bros England 1883" and the name of the plates is "Willow". So I paid 3x the price for a poor quality knockoff. And it's past the date I can return them. Not happy at all. I attached a picture of the 2 plates - I hope the quality of the pic online shows the difference. I don't recommend buying these.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter who is collecting Blue Willow (Johnson's Brothers). It has apparently been discontinued or off most of the shelves locally, so I was very pleased to get this.

The plates sent to me are made in China. I thought you were sending the ones made by Johnson & Johnson made in England. However, I like them and have gifted to my son.
