Cerwin-Vega V465 Vega 6.5IN 2WAY Coax SPKR-Set of 2, Black, 15.00in. x 8.10in. x 4.30in.

Replaced a pair of crappy Recoil coax speakers on the rear doors of my 2020 Elantra SE. Speakers are being pushed by a cheap Taramps 4 x 100 amp. Oh Lord! These speakers sound amazing right out of the box. Highs are sharp but crispy clear , and the mid bass is so much better than any other 6.5 coax speaker i have used before.. I was considering a sub, but with the thump coming out of these speakers, I don't think ill be buying one any time soon. and plenty reviews say they sound better after break-in?Don't wait. If you want an amazing set of 6.5 coax speakers , get them now.

Traded in my old truck, so new speakers were needed for the new one. Bought these and had them installed in my new to me F150 rear doors along with the component version in the front doors, they sound great! They’re being powered by a 700 watt 4 channel Sony amp. Very happy with them!

lets start with i purchased a pair of kicker DSC650 6.5" and those sounded so horrible, glad i purchased on amazon which made the return very easy without any issues. i was looking around again for a front pair of 6.5" speakers and came across these pair of cerwin vega V465 i was not sure just for the fact that you dont hear much about cerwin vega now a days expecially anything less than a woofer. lets say i am soooo glad i took the chance and bought the V465 these speakers have very nice low end mids and nice highs.i highly suggest on giving these a chance if your looking to upgrade, for 85$ the sound coming out is worth every penny.

I bought these for my front fairing of my bike, the sound quality is absolutely amazing, they are very loud for the size, & they are made with great quality! Highly recommend, especially for a bagger/dresser bike!

Have had these speakers for quite some time now, nice upgrade over OEM speakers. I am powering these and a pair of Infinity 5x7 door speakers with a 75x4 watt amplifier. These sound good, but not awesome. Bass is lacking, but it is only a 6.5" driver, so I expected that. Though, I might try a different amp in the future, as I'm running a lower end SPL unit. Maybe these speakers would shine with a better amp? I still think you would definitely want to run a subwoofer for bass depth. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase and so far, they are durable. Have always liked Cerwin Vega speakers, and these did not disappoint.

Great upgrade for front speakers for 2001 PT Cruiser. The adaptors I bought would not accommodate the speaker. Modification: when installing, slide speaker up enough to drill new holes for top. For bottom, drill new holes and use fender washers. These babies sing compared to the MOPAR stock speakers when used with factory head unit. A great quick and dirty upgrade without changing front tweeters or head unit.

I couldn't give these a five star rating because I never got the chance to use the speakers. I wanted to install them in my 2015 Road Glide fairing but they wouldn't fit. Basket diameter is too large and overall depth too deep. This review is mainly a heads up to fellow 2015/2016 Road Glide owners, these speakers will not fit.On another note, the online specs. (even those here at Amazon) state that the speakers have a 1" tweeter, however the user guide that comes with the speakers states that the tweeter diameter on the V465 is 3/4". Some of the other models in the V lineup do have 1" tweeters, but two of the models (including the V465) have 3/4" inch tweeters.Had the speakers fit, I probably would have kept them any way regardless of the actual tweeter diameter. I ended up going back to the Kappa 62.11I which is the same speaker that I originally had installed.

I purchased these since cerwin vega were top notch back in the 80’s . No disappointment, there are still great .
