I bought the 6 inches long HS Releasable Cable Ties and I solved tons of problems with everything connected by cables, wires, cords, you name it. Just make sure that you measure the longest circumference of the bundle of whatever you're going to tie. Great concept: the familiar zip tie with a small lever that allows for release and reuse. You can use it to tie anything anywhere, on soil, under water, hanging, whatever. This Release Cable solves a myriad of problems and brings order to any installation or single use. I fully recommend this product.

great product and easy to reuse zip tie

Excellent product!!

Ignore the product description pictures of regular zip ties. These reusable zip ties have the release lever and are easy to unzip... They also chain together to make longer fasteners while maintaining their reusability! I pulled on them with a good amount of opposing force using both arms in an isometric pull to see if I could break the teeth. I could hear the plastic creaking under the force, but I couldn't break them. I really like these zip ties! The only thing that could improve is adding more teeth toward the end of the zip tie which currently wastes about 3/4" of the usable length. In my pictures, I zip fasten the first 2 teeth to show the relative lengths of the 6", 8" & 10" zip ties when closed. My future use case requires reuse of the zip ties rather than spending more money on disposables... I give this product 6 out of 5 stars!

No negativity, very useful in home and garage

Every time I cut off a traditional zip tie I think - I should buy more reusable ones! Finally starting to act on that.These are a little wider than normal so not a fit for every use, but every time I reuse one I can smile a little (yes, I am easily pleased) . This particular tie is very thick also so holds up over multiple uses and can bundle things that don't want to be controlled due to weight or tension.Now my dilemma is should I trim the length or leave it at the original length.NOTES:For shorter 4" ties I have a bunch of the beaded reusables that work well for me.I never liked Velcro ties but they do have the unused part of the tie problem solved so they look neater; so still use them sometimes.

I use them on young tree/ shrub shelters so exposed to UV year round. they hold up very well and are fairly rugged. Generally last a few years at least.
