Oneida Flight Dinner Forks, Set of 6

Matched our existing flight pattern forks perfectly!

Matched my original set I bought 30 years ago. These are the best!!! Smooth, not too thin, good feel in your hand. I like this design because it is simple, elegant, and has a smooth surface that is easy to clean.

We needed a few forks to replace the ones that have gone missing over the last 23 years - our original set is from 2001 and is stamped Oneida USA. In my photos, the 2001 fork is on the left, 2024 fork from Oneida China is on the right. They are very similar, but definitely not the same. Our original forks had more of a satin finish, which I’ve always loved. The new ones are very shiny and feel a bit lighter. The shape overall is similar, good enough for us to keep these to fill in the missing pieces, but as you can see the arch in the handle is more dramatic in the new forks. I’m going to keep looking at yard sales to find old ones that match perfectly, but these will do fine filling in. I love my old set, and haven’t found a new set that I like better.

It's weird to have a favorite fork, right? For the longest time, I had a favorite fork in my house. It was one of the original ones from a set we got as a wedding present. Somehow over the years we lost the other 7! So I was on a mission to find a similar fork. This is it! It is not overly big like many other forks out there. It is more narrow and is of good sturdy quality. So happy I found some more good forks!
