Great device, takes a minute to learn all functions but I would recommend it,Some say dictation text function was not good, it seemed that way until I shut off all other surronding devices/TV ,then it performed well.

I got this for work, we communicate very critical information over radio and I wanted this as a 'black box' to cover my you know what in a 'he said, she said' situation. A friend had an older one from Walmart that didn't have a memory card but I liked the small size so I looked up the brand and found one but it wouldn't be delivered until March 8th...that's unacceptable, so I came to Amazon as I usually do anyway, and found this which is WAAAAAAY better for just a little more, and much quicker delivery (though it did come a day late). I love the touchscreen, it came with a 128gb memory card and charging cable, was completely dead on arrival but charged up quickly enough to turn it on and set it up. Full charge took about two hours.It has every function you can think of and some you didn't know you wanted or needed. The quality is great, both build quality as well as recording quality. I did buy the protective case that was recommended as a 'bundle' which is also really nice. You can use the screen only (except you need to use the physical record button or the side slide/power button to wake it up) for all functions, or you can use the physical buttons for 'old school' appeal and feel.Highly recommend. It's worth the price.

I've only used it 7 or 8 times so far but the recording quality is very good, even at a distance in council meetings when you choose the "lecture" setting. For one on one conversations in a crowded location I'd recommend an external mic, which it supports, but that's just common sense. Pocket mode is fantastic though, for me it recorded very well through two layers plus a coat. My only complaint so far, and it's really just me being picky, is the file tree system when you transfer files to your PC. It could be more streamlined, but overall it works well. Especially for the price. A few hundred more interviews will tell the story but so far I'm impressed.

Great tech support, couldn't get a microphone to work with it but tech support went back and forth with me. Interface is laid out very well. Speaker quality is solid, and the best part is how big of a memory card you can use with it. Really nice product.

Nice price and easy to charge. Multiple functions and easy to read display. Good sound quality.

The voice recorder is great. It has very good sound quality and range. I used itduring a meeting. However, the transcript was useless. It transcribed a complete mess. It was not even close. I think the voice recorder feature and ease of use make it worth the purchase.

I love the interface, can y'all add a shuffle button to the firmware for the media player. I like to use mine as an mp3 player, but I really need a shuffle button.
