Not a Easy to Assemble and wood color much darker than shown
It directions indicate it takes two people to properly assemble. The packaging is cumbersome and the rotating iron plate is stuffed with micro beads of styrofoam that are extremely difficult to remove and messy. I inquired prior to purchase about ease of assembly but was not told it would take two people. I will have to hire a handyman to help assemble. I can see they will be sturdy and comfortable when assembled. Also color of wood seat is darker than pictured. I was expecting and wanted a lighter color to blend with my modern, Scandinavian dining furniture. This stool seat is a medium to dark oak color. Definitely not natural or light oak. I have send email to manufacturer to get suggestions on dealing with the micro styrofoam beads. Canned air, vacuuming, brushing does not completely alleviate the problem.

Sturdy and nice looking stools
We purchased these stools for our new kitchen peninsula and they look fantastic. The rustic wood and metal legs compliment our dining table and cabinet hardware very nicely. Overall, we are very happy with the design, material, and workmanship of the stools. We have laminate wood floors and at first the stools seem wobbly when you turn them over, but if you tighten down the levelers on all 4 feet - place the stool where you want it - and adjust them in place - the stools become very solid and sturdy. These are a great buy for the price.

As advertised - Counter Stool Stools!
Very easy to assemble. Took me about 10 -12 minutes each to assemble. Look great and very comfortable for a wooden seat.

Nice, but rough seat
I liked the size as I was trying to not go too big for our space. I like that the seat swivels! Comfortable (for a backless, hard stool) with bar to rest your feet on. I REALLY wish the wood seat had a better finish. I've already gotten a splinter from the edge, and I worry how it will withstand general usage in a kitchen.
